The food was absolutely fantastic! As a true southerner, I appreciated the authentic flavors, and even the sweet tea was perfection! I highly recommend the southern egg rolls (filled with baked mac and cheese, collard greens, and fried chicken) and the fried pork chop brunch with cinnamon French toast covered in peach cobbler. I plan to go back, soon and often!!

My food was absolutely delicious and I will 100% be coming here again in the future. The cornbread specifically was so moist and buttery. The catfish was a huge surprise and I loved every bite. My waitress was also really nice and allowed my wife and I to feel extremely welcomed.

Overall, good visit. Kept passing by and never had the chance to try it, so after 3 years we finally did, and it did not disappoint, too much. The flavors, especially the egg rolls and beignets, were on point and delicious. However, the jambalaya and Cast Iron Fried Catfish w/ Crawfish Etouffee were extremely salty. Service was wonderful and prices could be a bit better. Luckily it was the Thursday special, because we didn’t think the 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and a dessert was worth $80+.

This was our first time going. We have definitely heard good things and this place did not disappoint! Bri was our server that took care of us. She was absolutely amazing despite how busy and packed restaurant was!! We had Sunday brunch and it was absolutely delicious!

The restaurant came highly recommended so I had a chance to stop in today to see what the hype was about. Let’s just say, I was not impressed. I placed a to go order and waited at the bar for my food to come out. As I sat there I kept smelling a stench like a dirty mop. The food is very overly priced for what I received today. The gravy on the pork chops was so thick. The onions in the gravy clearly were just cut and mixed in at the last minute. The potatoes in the potato salad were not proportioned. Small potatoes, large potatoes and big pieces of onions and peppers. The cabbage was bland and under seasoned. The guy that waited on me at the bar was very nice. That was the only good thing. I probably won’t be back.

Stopped here on a road trip and definite don’t regret it. Appetizers were okay, but the food was great. They did not skimp on the meat and the flavor was it. If I could go back I’d request a little more spice, so there’s that. But what made the stop so great was not just the food, but also the staff. We had the most amazing server who was super friendly and went above and beyond during our meal.
