My husband grew up on Happy Joe’s back in Burlington, IA so whenever we travel across the country we try to seek one out. We’re traveling across country with our 45’ fifth-wheel and are always a bit cautious about stopping for meals too far off the interstate, but it’s Happy Joe’s! We had to give it a shot.

We had a party there for our son and everything was perfect! The food was amazing, the staff was friendly, fun and very accommodating. They even celebrated our son’s birthday with us and gave him a celebratory Sunday. They were also lots of arcade fun. Price was right too!

Impressively bad. Staff seems nice but felt sick shortly after. Soda machine was flat, so got a beer and it was expired. So tried a draft beer which was also flat. So ended up getting water. Just not a good experience. Staff was nice but hopefully are not oblivious to what they are offering.
