Kotobuki is an absolute gem! We will definitely be coming back. The fish was fresh and absolutely delicious. We got the hamachi jalapeño roll, the soft shell crab roll, the fatty tuna sushi (forgot the name), and the broiled yellowtail cheek. This is a great date night spot with ample parking!

Wow! This place serves really fresh tasting sushi. The teriyaki chicken was super tender and a little on the saltier and saucy side, but the rice made it less salty. The beer was delicious also. Overall wonderful owners and servers, very clean and just a hidden gem.

Tiny portions, very plain and uncreative. I get it, you are trying to go minimalist sushi. The empty restaurant at lunch rush should be a clue. It’s not working. I ordered scallop sushi, it was good but tiny, I ordered a roll which was only ok, boring and…. tiny. I ordered a salmon skin hand roll, again boring and tiny (smallest I’ve ever seen). The price was not tiny, $35.00 total. Take a pass on this place.

This is a low key, good and authentic Japanese restaurants. Their food is consistently at high quality. The bento box is what i ordered most, their grilled makarel serves so well with the rice, tofu salad with saseme sauce is so soft, such a great combo. Sashimi and sushi is always fresh!

You gotta check out Kotobuki! The place is awesome – and authentic. You walk in and you’re greeted by the super friendly owner, Also the place is super clean even the bathroom is spotless. You can tell there’s attention to detail and care and everything with a do.
