I can not express how much we LOVED this place! The restaurant is absolutely lovely and very clean, and the staff are fantastic. Since it was such a remote place, I wasn’t sure the food would be good, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the black bean burger, and it was the best black bean burger I’ve ever had. I was also glad to find they have gluten-free buns! My fiancé ordered a fish basket, and he was blown away by how delicious the fresh caught fish was. I HIGHLY recommend stopping in for a visit.

Just by chance, we stopped in for a drink and appetizer. What a cool bar and bigger than it looks from the outside. Sweat potato fries were a huge portion, and cheese sticks were good as well. Big dining room outdoor sitting and a nice bar. We did not eat a meal, but while sitting at the bar and seeing the meals go by, the portions are huge. It’s worth a stop if you’re in Cedarville. We ordered two meals. I got a gigantic 1/2 pound bison burger. I could only eat half and some of the fries. When I ordered I thought it would be the 1/2 pound plus a couple slices of ham and bacon but instead I got the sandwich photographed it was delicious! Fries were perfectly crisp. Als we also ordered the whitefish. No complaints from that department but I’d say he isn’t quite as selective as I am when it comes to food. The service was what was lacking. They were not busy and we were barely greeted by a girl who was maybe 12 years old and sat down. She was sweet and I know workers are hard to come by plus having family work in the business can help in a lot of ways. It took quite some time before we were given the option to order. The waitress was friendly but wait times are important in this industry. The atmosphere was given the lower score because a couple of young people were drinking, arguing, and cursing in front of my young daughter. With an attached bar I wish they would have chosen to sit in there and not expose her to the language. Or that the staff would have been more attentive and asked them to quiet down or move to a more appropriate seating arrangement. Otherwise, they seemed clean and has some interesting things to look at while we waited for our service and food.
