Ordered a pizza they said 40min got to a bunch of people waiting round for there food. They told me just another 10min. Waited over another 30mins standing there. Finally got my pizza an get home and its burnt wow i would have taken 10mins earlier. Ill NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

I’ve only ordered carryout and the pizza is always tasty, a bit pricey, but still good. The wait times given over the phone are WAY off. Its almost always 15+ min additional waiting. Incredibly irritating, we try to support local as much as possible and are aware of staff shortages, but you should be able to do better at this. Id rather wait at home than in my car.

From order to pick up workers were very pleasant, even though they were extremely busy they did not appear frazzled. I ordered the gnocchi with meatballs sat 11/6/2021 and have to say it was EXCELLENT!! Closest I have come to my Italian family’s cooking which I hold dear. The gnocchi (potato dumpling) was nice and chewy with great flavor, meatballs were very authentic and sauce was a great combination of sweet and tangy and everything was perfectly sauced. A very generous portion for $12.95 considering it included 4 large meatballs, a side salad, and either garlic or Italian bread. I can tell they definately put the “LOVE” into their cooking and that’s what Italian food is all about!!!! When I am in the mood for Italian they will get my business every time from now on…hands down and thumbs up!!

I used to love DeRango’s until yesterday… We’ve been ordering from there for years. My parents always would order pizza when I was growing up and it was always great. Well my husband and I moved into Caledonia and still ordered as I used to love it. The food eventually started to go down hill and the prices went up. It’s been a good 6 months maybe even more since then. Well yesterday I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, Garlic bread, and a Small pizza. For over $40!! I opened my Chicken Alfredo looked and smelled delicious. Went to go put on the plate and notice something black. It was a FLY. I seriously had to try to hold back so hard from no puking as I took some bites already. A DEAD FLY in the sauce. It’s cold out and the bugs are becoming dormant.. I have not see a any Flys. So tell me why there was one in my Alfredo. Then I continued to look around and found a piece of HAIR!. I will no longer be ordering from DeRangos.

It makes me very sad to only give them a 2 star rating. DeRango’s used to be fantastic. I could not wait to get food there. But lately it has really gone downhill. I order things a certain way and its never done that way. So tonight I decide to order fish and I have never gotten fish. The fish was good. Garlic bread under cooked as usual. The french onion soup was good. Now for the mashed potatoes, just fair but here’s the thing I ordered a 12 piece fish. I have 4 people to feed and I get 2 very little bowls of mashed potatoes. I mean like two tablespoons of potatoes. So 2 of us went without. I’m going to try the DeRango’s on 3 mile and if that is the same I will be looking for a new place to order from.

The pizza and frozen custard was great, the people working behind the counter we’re very kind, but they seem a little unorganized, but it seems to be the norm lately as everyone is short staffed. They’re also remodeling the restaurant. The wait was long, but everything else was good. I think we they’re issues will get smoothed out in n the near future. We will go back!!

Tonight’s meal was completely consistent with the last meal we had there six months ago. It was a terrible dinner. Just terrible. Our delivery guy was a rock star. The only reason they get two stars. If my feet had thumbs I’d give them four thumbs down…
