Pool and lakeside views are so fun for the summertime. The pool had lots of kids in it on the Saturday afternoon when I visited. Yes, patrons can get in the pool! Bar staff were attentive, and the beer prices were reasonable. This is a covered patio place, so don’t expect air conditioning.

We are locals and this has always been a great experience. Unfortunately tonight was terrible. We ordered the BLT which says it is served on halipeno cornbread. It came out on sourdough and when we asked we were told that it was not cornbread but the cook called it cornbread. The food was not bad but a bit disappointing. But the server was terrible, 1st the table cleaner had to take our order because the assigned waitress was busy, then she would not refill drinks, she did not ask if we needed anything although that might be because she never came back to the table until she delivered the check. The other waitress had to do all her work. But she happily went to the table 10 ft away every 2 minutes to make sure everything was good with them. This has always been a good restaurant and still is but it is unlikely we will return because of the poor service.

This is the perfect open-air lakefront cafe to go to on vacation! Waitstaff was friendly, and took our orders quickly. There was a small crowd there, but we still didn’t have to wait for a table or for service.

The food here is always good. Of course my favorite is the bacon can’t have too much bacon lol The cinnamon rolls are out of this world. And of course the rest of the food is fabulous also. Sitting outside and eating enhances the atmosphere and makes for an exciting experience.

Casual, clean atmosphere. The deck looks out on the lake. Not a great view, but they have big fans so the breeze is nice. The service was great, Faith was very friendly and efficient. She made menu suggestions and answered all our questions. We settled on Moscow mules, a Philly to share with onion rings and a side salad. Wish we’d gotten the onion ring tower, they were so good! The bun was toasted on the Philly and the meat was lean and plentiful. If we are in this area again we will come back!

We boated across the lake to enjoy Quarterdeck. We have eaten here before. We like it. The food is good, lake quality (seasonal) food. Staff was friendly, but not too attentive (tables were not getting wiped, I ordered a drink that never showed up, had to ask for refills).

We boated to the Quarterdeck for breakfast buffet. We were greeted by mounds of goose poop on the dock and horrible food. Cold eggs, greesy meats, stale cinnamon rolls, loads of flies. A huge disappointment. The servers were great but not enough to entice us for a return visit.

We boated in with a party of 12 on the 4th of July weekend. We knew we would probably have a wait time and were ok with that. The hostess said it would be about an hour and were ok with that as the kids were happy to swim in the pool while the adults had happy hour with Cade behind the bar. 35-45 minuets later we were seated at a table with Olivia as our server. Olivia made some appetizer suggestions and the onion rings, the cheese curds and the fried mac and cheese bites were fantastic. The fired pickles were about average. Some of our meal highlights were the Philly Cheesesteak, the buffalo chicken sandwich and the pizza. The food all came out in a timely manor and was very hot. Olivia did a fantastic job with everything including keeping our drinks full. We have been going to the Quarterdeck for about 3 years now and always have a great time. Highly recommend.

Holy moly, those onion rings! YUM! We sat poolside with our adult children having “Lakewaters” (adult slushies) after a hot day playing on the lake. What a treat!
