Clean and friendly Dairy Queen in New Albany. Safe and enjoyable for the kids. Our food was brought to our table. I don’t know if they always do this, but I appreciate the extra hands. Had a real bad hankering for a ice cream, realized there DQ in walking distance. Got the Peanut Butter Puppy Chow Blizzard. Excellent tasting with lot’s of chocolate chips. Dak W suggested that I fill out survey, so I would get free item. Very nice young man, watched the way he interacted with customers and is fantastic. Especially with the kiddos, parents were quite surprised.

I placed a cake order on the website for my son’s birthday. I put in the notes that my son has severe reactions to food dyes and I selected frostings that I knew were dye free. The cake decorator, Ashley, called me to ask about adding a few decorations that were dye free (the chocolate cone dip and the chocolate sprinkles). She even allowed me to bring in dye free rainbow sprinkles that I had purchased on Amazon and she used those. The cake looked great and I appreciate her taking the time to call me to make sure he had a nice cake! She really went above and beyond! (Forgot to get a pic before cutting lol)

My daughter loves dairy queen blizzards so the food is worth the wait for us. I have always enjoyed our food and treats at this location. This place gets busy and service can take some time, so patience is required during rush, lunch and dinner hours. I have always seen the staff trying real to serve and get orders right from the start.

I ordered a hamburger and a cheese burger. My gf can’t eat cheese. Lettuce is brown from yesterday. Only two employees present. Took 5 minutes to give order, only to get it wrong. Hire more people. Food looks pathetic.

Waited in the drive through line for around 18 minutes with 5 cars in front of us. Got to the speaker and nothing happened for about 4 minutes said hello a few times honked the horn and nothing. So drove to the window and explained that we waited but nothing was happening so we drover forward with a line wrapping around the building behind us. I was told that they couldn’t take the order at the window and I needed to get back in line to order. So I spent roughly 20 plus minutes in line to be told to get back in line to order. The representative had no other alternative but to get back in line. Even with me suggesting to use a different pos. Trying to set a good example for my kids I just left and made them treats at home. I attempted to call and inform the manager of how they could not take my order but the phone line that’s listed says it’s disconnected. Not going to return to this store.

Avoid this place. They decided to shut the lobby early even though they do not have special lobby hours. We got in just in time. The long haired guy working the register and getting orders for poorly was extremely rude and using foul language when there was a lobby full of kids. Terribly unprofessional especially in such an environment that is suppose to create smiles. I felt bad for the other employees having to work under his direction.

Horrible horrible service. Went to pick up my daughter birthday cake and this was the writing on it like literally a kid could of written better. Place online order price said 36.59 and was charge when picked up 40.99???? Called to talk to manager and he stated got no control over online prices and was not apologetic. Wow goes to show you what service is these days. How disappointing about the New Albany location!!!

Service is terrible. They had close to 12 employees when we went to eat in (a Saturday night) and seemed that only the kitchen staff knew more or less what to do, almost all employees seemed new and had no idea what to do.

Why can’t I get a banna split in a tall cup here like all the other locations no one knows. Easier to eat in the car but they only will give it to you in a boat. I am boring so I have been ordering banana splits this way for years. I think it is just like the other reviews lack of leadership. Someone will come on here and say there sorry but nothing will change
