The food is pretty good. The service needs improvement. The jerk chicken salad is a really generous portion and tasty but not spicy at all. I ordered salt fish fritters but never got them. When I asked the server the first time a while after everything else came out she said oh let me enter the order. When I asked again she said they were mistakenly sent to another table and they were sold out. She didn’t write anything down and kept forgetting what we ordered. We did get free ginger beer, which was nice, because someone who ordered them didn’t pick them up.

I don’t like leaving such low reviews but this place was really disappointing, unfortunately. The chicken was dry and seemed to have been left out for a while. It was pretty much flavorless. The plantain was also flavorless and not at all sweet. The rice was okay. I had high hopes for this place based on the other reviews but it did not live up to expectations at all. Someone I know went there and also said the food was kind of bad. Service-wise, it took about 15 minutes for the server to take my order. I felt sorry for her – the place was packed and it was just her on the floor. I won’t be returning. I have a feeling this place might appeal to people who are unfamiliar with Jamaican food and come in with no expectations. You’ll find far better Jamaican cuisine elsewhere

Visiting from New Orleans, decided to give it a try and it was delicious, me and my family all ordered the oxtail stew, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed it. The gravy had a subtle sweet taste but it was also flavorful. So delicious. If you happen to be in the area it’s definitely worth a try. Oh yeah and the music they play in the background is a nice calm vibe. It’s like island hip hop music

The food is delicious here. Great flavours and spicy on point. The bathroom and in general the bar could use some cleaning, also the service is a bit off, not personable or attentive. However the food is worth it so I could close an eye on that.

Been here twice now and absolutely love it all! It’s such a family ambiance and all of the staff are super friendly. Our favorites are fish fritters, ox tail stew, green beans, jerk chicken, wings, cocktails, and really everything is a hit and a must! Thank you, fams!

I was not as impressed with the food in my past visit. This was our second time here as a family. We all ordered the same chicken dish. I ordered the same dish I had last year I could tell it was not the same flavors and freshness as last year. My sister even asked me this is chicken right it taste like beef. I love the atmosphere of this restaurant. The rum drinks were good and the appetizers were delicious but the salad missed the mark. I hope my 3rd time here is the charm. I want to support this business.

This is the first Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to with a place to dine in and eat! Good ample seating, clean, and the food came out quick. The waitress was nice. The drinks were strong AF. Had to tone it down. The vibe was loud and cheerful. First Friday festival was taking place and it was great. You can bring the family. Good portions !
