This place has a prime spot along the water. Unfortunately, I can’t say the food is anywhere near prime. I had the fried flounder with mac and cheese, fries and cucumber salad. The fish was fine, mac and cheese was pasty (they use flour as a thickening agent. Never liked that). Although they give you a lot of food I didn’t feel the $23 price tag was justified. Also ordered a long Island which I had no idea was $14! Others with me were not overly impressed. For two drinks and two fried flounders and a hot dog, I spent over $80! They even charge for water! I’d give it 3 stars if the prices weren’t so high.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Hot day out here in North Carolina, got hungry. For something small ordered the fries that came with chili, onions, beans and more. My goodness I gotta say, that was probably the best fries that I had in a while. Especially the look of the water and having the food was just fantastic. It was definitely something I have to order again when coming over here.

Friendly staff, was seated immediately upon arrival. First time eating here, ordered the double meat cheese burger with fries and, this burger was perfect. Not overdone, flavor juices retained in the meat, the meat wasn’t dry. Truly an amazing Hamburger. Haven’t tried anything else on the menu but for this particular case the overall visit was stupendous. 10/10.

Don’t waste your time going here. Made the drive over there and they had their “at capacity” signs out. Stood and waited patiently for roughly an hour. The wait staff then started seating people that were clearly there LONG after us, without taking down the signs I might add, and I made it known that it wasn’t right at all and how long we had waited. The staff got pretty rude and tried to seat us next to the very same people that took our would-be tables with a completely blocked view of anything good. And then had the audacity to say that if I didn’t like it, why raise such a fuss at all. SERIOUSLY?!?! Do yourselves the favor and head over to Blackbeard’s, like we did tonight. In the end, they did us a favor. An Anniversary/Birthday saved. Thanks Blackbeard’s!!!

Staff was friendly. No indoor seating options for some reason. They sat everyone outside. Food was OK. Service was slow. Great location right on the water. Wife and son had the shrimp burger. Not really a burger, just 4 pieces of shrimp on a bun. That’s it. Nothing else. I had a burger, not very good. It tasted burned, like they didn’t clean the grill. We had the Buffalo shrimp appetizer which was really good.

View, location and service was nice, they had live music which was really good. The most important part they fell short on- the food. Food was way over priced for what it was, our bill was $135 for a adult burger, kids burger and flounder platter a beer and a mixed drink. Burgers were just OK, flounder was good but for $46 it better be. (Menu said it was $21, gotta watch the fine print with the market rate, I guess)
