We really enjoyed our breakfast at Cascade Restaurant. The vegetarian breakfast sandwich was delicious and is served with a plant-based egg alternative, Beyond sausage, and avocado; the pancakes were some of the fluffiest I’ve ever experienced (the picture really doesn’t do it justice).

This is a better than typical eatery on the north shore near Lutsen. The breakfasts are good, the servings are large, and the menu has a lot of choices. We only ate here for breakfast. Coffee is served in a big carafe.

We saw this place on our way back to our campground and decided to stop in for lunch. It was a cute place to eat. It is right next to the lodge, and you can see Lake Superior from the window of the restaurant. You have to order your food and pay your bill first before you sit down. Then you can sit wherever you want. We wanted to eat light, so we decided to order off the appetizer menu. I ordered coconut crusted whitefish finger sticks. We also ordered onion rings, and my husband orders the BBQ wings. The coconut was darker than I’m used to, but it was delicious and large. It was the size of a meal. The basket of onion rings was large, and the wings were enough for several people. You definitely get your monies worth. My husband said the wings were really good. We are glad we decided to stop. There will be no dinner for us. We are still full from the great food we had.

Was greeted by very friendly staff who informed me that our dogs could join us in their outdoor seating area while we ate which was awesome. Had a wild burger cooked to perfection and the best waffle fries of my life. All while sitting lakeside with a perfect view of Lake Superior. Only problem was getting parked because the lot is not super big. But it is definitely a must stop for lunch.

Cheese curds were amazing! The Big Cascade burger and waffle fries were very good as well. Their portions are not lacking! Staff were friendly and helpful! If the weather is nice, sitting outside gives a great view of Lake Superior!
