The food and service were great. Nice location only a few minutes from our campground and Sparta. We order a few types of wings and chili cheese dogs. The spur cream and onion wings were the best! The online menu showed the wings were full wing, and when we got them, they were not the fill wing.

Great food and service! I recommend this restaurant. We had the fish special today. It was delicious and came with great sides (cheesy potatoes, a bread roll and corn on the cob). Additionally, I thought our meal was very affordable considering the high quality of the food.

Excellent service. Not only did my server check in frequently, the cook also checked in with me to make sure my food was okay. I had the Reuben which was really good. The bread was nice and crisp, not the least bit soggy. I also had a bloody mary and had a choice of flavored vodkas. Dill, garlic, bacon or plain and I chose the dill.

A bus group reservation for 54 people turned into a horror movie. We arrived to find the restaurant double booked. They gave our tables and chairs away to another group. The waitress was very rude. Treated the guests terrible. They treated us like we intruded. We had to serve ourselves, and eat standing up. Very un-professional. Reservation made months in advance. Several follow up calls and reminders made. Another call to the Cotter Pin 20 minutes before the arrival. Told they were ready for us. What a surprise we got. Another group in our seats. Have you ever heard of, no tables available? We have a large reservation coming. You don’t have to be overly intelligent to realize this!!!

My wife and stopped on a Saturday afternoon around 1ish, very cool place inside but overall was kind of a downer experience. The waitress wasn’t the friendliest to begin with, I ordered the Reuben and was brought a French dip, I told her I had the Reuben and she came back quickly with my sandwich, it hardly had any sauerkraut on it and had no 1000 island dressing on it, or none in a container, I went to the bar to ask for some and they didn’t really seem to sorry about it, the waitress didn’t apologize at all. First impressions are everything and I’m not sure if we would go back.

We happened upon this local bar/grill when on vacation and not really knowing what was in the area…and we hit the jackpot. Service was so friendly, my husband and son enjoyed playing pool and other games, beer list was excellent, lots of menu choices, and the food was really fresh and delicious. We visited a total of 3 time during our two-day Sparta stay. My son may demand the two hour drive for more pizza fries!
