Had Matiki twice now, and what I loved best is the Green Salad. I love the dressing. I opt for the green salad because I personally don’t like potatoes in my Mac salad. I ordered the Kalbi, and I like the marinade. The meat is flavorful, but some of my meat was tough. It’s still good.

First time here, The place is pretty small few tables if you plan to dine in. The grill is too smoky and it is definitely on your clothes once you leave. The beef ribs is the only thing I enjoyed the most. Steak is not cooked as requested and it’s a bit on hard side so is the kalbi but flavorful & chicken is descent. Overall I’d give it 3.5⭐️

This was my 2nd time eating here, so my 1st experience was definitely positive as well. I really love the staff and unlike most restaurants these days the food tastes so fresh. Pretty cool to watch them make the food on the grill right in front of you. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because I wish the portions were a bit more, but other than that everything else is great. If you enjoy island bbq then this is the place for you!

First time visiting, won’t be the last! Food was great with a lot of flavor! Went there for the masubi with Mac salad in it and was blown away! I wanted to give this place 5 stars but the employee taking orders was not friendly. Seemed to me they didn’t have the patience for someone new ordering there or something else. But other then that the employees working in the kitchen part were friendly. Thanks for the great food!

Looking for some Hawaiian food? Matiki is the place. I love myself some beef ribs, and they definitely did not disappoint. I ordered the #1 Beef rib plate. Price was great for some awesome grilled BBQ ribs. I was thinking that you might get maybe 3 ribs, but you actually get 5! Ribs were accompanied by rice and mac salad. Everything tasted great! Meat off the ribs literally fall off the bone. The wife tried the beef bowl, which she said tasted great. She loved all the veggies that they had in the bowl. Of course they had some Hawaiian Sun drinks, which always go well with BBQ.

First time here!. Will not be the last.. great workers! You can watch your food being freshly prepared rather than in the back kitchen.. felt beach pulehu vibes! got the beef ribs and let me tell you! Big portions fall off the bone flavored. The potato Mac is bomb as well! Local jams that makes you feel back home in hawaii!
