This is a good Chinese takeout place. We wanted a quick, well-priced place with good ratings, and Rice Wok delivered on that. The highlight item we ordered was the Lo mein, but the dumplings (more like pot-stickers) were tasty as well. The fried rice was mediocre, and the egg roll wasn’t crispy, but overall, the flavor of the food was pretty good.

Used to have good service and good food. Last three times bought dinner/lunch for my husband and I, the food was extremely greasy, and incorrect. Called to inform them, she was rude didn’t offer any credit, remake or any resolution. Do not waste your money.

I order here quite often. Ordered Beef fried rice less than an hour ago. Every piece of beef in this dish is chewy cartilage consistency and inedible. I always tip for my carry out orders and this just feels like a slap in the face. I’ve worked in the restaurant industry for over 10 years. Based on my experience I got the nasty leavings at the bottom of their beef container. It is usually good beef here but this is unforgivable. The cook most certainly knew what the quality level of the beef they used in my dish and seemingly doesn’t care.

We decided to eat there so our food would be fresh and hot but we had to send it back to be reheated…still luke warm. Not exactly a place to eat-in at. Our Entrees were VERY tasty though! Crab Rangoon and Eggroll seemed Under-Fried as well … GREAT Egg Drop soup!

Don’t waste your time going anywhere else for Chinese food. I’ve been ordering from Rice Wok for over a decade and literally have NEVER had a bad experience. The owners are friendly and the food is always of the highest quality. The vegetables are always perfectly cooked, and the food is always nice and hot. Flavor-wise, the Szechuan is the best I’ve had anywhere. No competition. Any time I am out of town and have to order from another Chinese restaurant, I’m disappointed because it’s never as good as Rice Wok. They’re always super fast too! And I almost forgot to mention, the portion sizes are generous for the cost so you always feel like you’re getting your money’s worth. I’m passionate about good food, and it’s honestly hard to put in words how much I Iove Rice Wok. If you’re in Grand Rapids, and hungry for Chinese food, this is the only place to go. ❤️

I have never been here before, however, we were close by and starving. This was such a wonderful surprise. The entire meal tasted so fresh. I have never had such a delicious hot and sour soup. The hot & hot chicken, spring rolls and the entire meal was just wonderful! Lots of leftovers to take home. Small restaurant but big on taste. They are so nice too!! Will be coming back!!

Good food, great service, extremely fast, nice people, some of the best Lo Mein noodles around. Had the fire fire chicken this time. It wasn’t very spicy, but it had a nice variety of vegetables and was still very good. I’ll ask for them to kick it up next time.
