Food was very tasty. I got triple crown omelette which has bacon, ham, sausage, and one or two other things ( can’t recall ). It was good. Hash browns on the side were a bit a bit underwhelming. They quality seemed on point, but the way they were cooked wasn’t. They seemed more steamed than browned. Maybe they rushed them. Just a I little browned, and everything not browned had the texture and taste of being steamed. Service was very good. Multiple tip jars begging for money at the register. One is tip for the cooks, one for to go orders. I tipped my server, but not the cooks. The servers make servers wages. The cooks don’t. They chose to be cooks in a diner, just like I chose to be in my job, and no one tips me for doing my job. To me this is pan handling, and if I was the manager there, I wouldn’t allow it.

3 out of 5 times we ordered our sandwiches, they got it completely wrong or either just the sandwiches were completely missing. They do not have it together up there. Not speaking for all Omelette Cafe but the one in Richmond Hill is by far the worst I’ve ever been too. I tried giving them multiple chances before this post and they continue to fail me. Never returning.

My family and I have been coming to this restaurant for a some years now. Never had a problem with food or service. Today we received very poor service. I asked the young lady about the portion of my ham because it was smaller than usual, she gave me a quick yes and walked off. I then asked her did they change the grits because they taste like instant grits, they were. Very grity and left a bland taste in my mouth, her response, they’re the same grits we’ve always had and walked off. When her response should have been ma’am is there something else I can get you instead. Kind word and a kind attitude will take you far. She definitely needs more training on customer service and how to greet customers of color (African American) with a smile whether you want to serve them or not. As a long time customer, I will not return again. Hopefully you began to work on these issues so that you don’t lose anymore longtime customers. God bless your business.

Customer service is nice very nice served well the employees are very nice and the food itself didn’t take long. I’m actually thinking about recreating this place in my Minecraft world! So I’d say the ambiance is cozy and nostalgic to many. I think the prices are average, the po boy was $12.20 and the fries / hash browns were $5.50 in total. Very good quality food for a respectable price. I’d say thumbs up if you haven’t visited this place, you definitely should consider it!

Subpar breakfast restaurant. Menu has an ok selection but eh. Fiesta bowl was pretty good, was not expecting pickeled jalapeños but I like them so overall was good. 2 suausage and a biscuit was not great — low quantity sausages, there was confusion about whether the meal was ordered or it as sides with the food runner and the added egg was not. Server was decently nice but seemed lost, maybe she was new. Dining area was les than clean. I watched 3 waitresses walk past spilled milk and garbage on the floor. It was not busy, just a slow Tuesday.
