Went in for the first time, wanting to try a new restaurant in town. Service was great, we liked the ambiance, and we got our food quickly. We both thought it could have been better, with it lacking the authentic mexican flavor, we also thought it didn’t look very appetizing. But hey- we agreed to give it another try again in the future for their drinks instead— until we both got sick 3 hours after that being the only thing we had ate. We called and informed the manager. She did not want to give us a refund since no one else had food poisoning that day (okay). But the main thing is she was rude, defensive, and we did not even get a “sorry”. Mistakes happen, it’s understandable, the least you can do is offer an apology or say “hey come in again and we’ll make it right!” when a customer is sure it is your food that made them sick.

We love this place! It is our #1 pick in Vacaville! Food is great! Owners are awesome! New patios are lovely . Great location. Lots of parking. Cozy little spot off the freeway. Enchiladas are so delish. Actually every dish is, but MY favorite is the enchiladas. Hubby and daughter love burritos, wet ones, dry ones, veggie ones, super ones, all of them! Mom loves enchiladas. And oh my gosh pricing … It’s so affordable. Again it’s our #1pick so what more can I say! Oh how’bout this…EAT HERE! It’s the BEST place in Vacaville

Went for Cinco De Mayo, the place was packed, more than I’ve ever seen. They had a mariachi band, that were amazing, and whom played requested songs for tips. El Azteca is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Vacaville, and not just on May 5th. The staff is always friendly and on point with their service. The food comes out fast and hot, and let me tell you about the margaritas, THE BEST IN TOWN. Hands down. Thank goodness there is finally somewhere I can go to get a well made drink. Not too strong, or sweet, to where you can’t even drink it. They are made to PERFECTION. The restaurant, and bar itself, is so clean, and inviting. Let me just tell you, tonight the staff worked so hard, along with the owners, helping where needed, greeting guests, and checking on tables. Food and drinks, came out in a timely manner, and overall in was just another great time at El Azteca.
