The shrimp here was awesome, as well as most of the food. The batter on the shrimp and onion rings was light, crisp, and fluffy. They had a large selection of fish for a BBQ/Steakhouse, which was nice. All the food here was great, and we left with full stomachs and left over boxes because the portions are sized like a linebackers dinner. Would definitely recommend this place as a must if you live anywhere close. The environment was quite cozy and parking was off street. The orchid garnish on every plate is edible, the petals are similar in texture to onion slivers with a fruity floral tone. Thanks for a good night.

Was so disappointed with the experience. Waitress was very slow. Waited 15 minutes for her to take our order. The worse part was the prime rib. I ordered it rare and it came almost well done. There wasn’t any pink in it at all. Used to eat here a lot but it’s been about 6 months since my last visit. After this experience It’s going to be a lot longer. Luckily there are a lot of good places to eat in Wyandotte. This just isn’t one of them.

This used to be one of my favorite eaters. Waitress needs to retire. When we walked in she was who sat us and I immediately was disappointed. No hi how are you, welcome not even a smile. Food used to be great today it was average at best. The waitress never came to ask if our food was alright, didn’t clear our dishes and never asked if we wanted dessert. Won’t be going back. There are many competitors with the same quality food but much better service.

I’m a type of person that rarely likes to eat at the same place more than once, but I keep going back to here because it’s such a great dining experience. The white bean chicken chilli is amazing, as well as everything else I’ve ordered is here never disappoints. I really enjoy the turkey Ruben though. Great service, friendly servers & management, never a long wait, and sometimes they have an old style accordionist playing. One of the few places in downriver I fully support and tell my friends about.

I ordered a “the works” pizza NO OLIVES and I checked before I left and didn’t see any. Once I got home and bit into it, it was bursting with olive flavor. I called and they said they didn’t put any on but they would replace it. Once again I get the pizza home and bite…BURSTING with olive flavor.

I used to be a weekly visitor at Smokies until my most recent visit. I ordered the chicken alfredo that Joe mentioned in his review below. I couldn’t have said it better myself. The dish was completely tastless. There was absolutely no flavor. I informed the waitress that I was not happy and explained the issue. She came back to my table a few moments later, visibly uncomfortable, and says that her manager told her that since there is nothing technically “wrong” with the dish I would still be billed for it. Mind you I only took a couple bites before sending it back with the waitress. Of course, I did not accept this response and it was eventually removed from my bill. But what a terrible way to treat your customers! I along with the rest of my family have never been told such a thing and were simply appalled that this is how customer service issues are being handled. Haven’t been back since.

Walked in and had to wait to be seated. There was 5 tables open and still bad to wait. We ordered there perch sandwich and fries (special.) The perch didn’t even taste like fish. At $10.50 for a special I would of rather of ate a McDonalds fish sandwich. It would of tasted better. The waitress never even asked if we needed a refill

We wanted it to be great, but it just wasn’t! Food was mediocre (prime rib was room temperature at best. I sent it back and it came out slightly warmer than room termperature. Parts of the “fish trio” were fresh, and parts were frozen fish, which wasn’t very tasty nor did it reflect in the price of the entree ) the service was okay. Maybe we’ll try again, but it isn’t likely.
