I don’t know why it says they’re open till 6 pm. It’s not true, on busiest weekends they close at 4 pm like every other eating establishment in this zoo. Either way, this place is bad. Food is disgusting and overpriced. I highly recommend you eat somewhere else before you visit Brookfield zoo. There is no good diner here.

$11.50 for a pepperoni pizza that was one of the worst I’d ever had. I couldn’t even finish it. The kids didn’t like it either. The cheese had a weird texture. The sauce was terrible. The crust was doughy.

Food was alright, the girl at pickup must of entered number wrong for the pager as I was waiting at pickup for 25-30 minutes. I understand the volume of people, but at least call out the orders as you’re sending out the pages… my tray was up there for at least 15 minutes and I had no way of knowing

Honestly, this was the best cheeseburger I’ve had in Chicago thus far. And it’s not even Chicago. I don’t know why everyone is complaining about the prices, it’s a zoo cafe, of course you should expect it will run on the pricey side, but it actually doesn’t. Compared to a lot of hipstery “burger bars” in the city, the prices are pretty awesome, I think even McDonald’s has worse prices nowadays.

Quick place to eat while at the zoo. Sadly there seemed to be no high chairs for kids and the pops seemed water down. There were also no lids for drinks and stations weren’t completely cleaned.
