First of all, GO HERE if you have the chance. We had a lovely experience. We loved hearing Reneldo’s travel stories while he made fresh, amazing Mexican food for us. We had the steak taco, taquitos, and tamale. All were amazing. Hand made, expertly crafted, and delicious. My one regret is our itinerary didn’t allow for a second visit. This is worth a detour on your Hawai’i schedule.

We stopped in and was greeted by TVs owner/chef, Reneldo. He was extremely friendly and cooked each of our orders individually with love! We had Empenadas, chicken/cheese quesadilla, tamales and chips and guacamole! All were amazing! Service impeccable! Stop by for a treat !!!

Doesn’t get more authentic than this! Perfect Belt road quick food stop for some incredible tacos, tamales, rice and beans. Cookie place next door was a nice bonus as well.

What a fantastic place with great tasty food. We stopped here on our way to Hilo with a party of 8 and super hungry ordered pretty much everything from the menu. And oh my God the food is Soo fresh and tasty. Don’t be discouraged by the Rusty and shabby design of the place. You and your tummy will enjoy everything that’s here. We all loved it!

This is a very small, local establishment with irregular hours. The food is very good and the owner is very affable. The menu is a bit limited and it isn’t unusual for some items to be temporarily unavailable due to ingredient shortages. So set your expectations accordingly and stop in and enjoy some great food and if the owner isn’t too busy, get some great talk-story as well.
