I got catering and it wasn’t great, the banana pudding which is usually great but only if you order when dinning in had next to no cookies and we order the meal that was supposed to feed 4 to 6 and they only gave us 4 cornbread muffins. The chicken tenders were more like chicken nuggets, but this was okay considering it was for children but I’ve had better in the past from them! New cooks I guess

I come to this place with my aunt every month or two. OMG BEST SERVICE EVERRRRRRRR!!!!!! 😀 One of the waitresses there are in a band called “The Demos.” The food is cooked fresh and is delectable. I get lots of food on my platter which is EXACTLY what I need so I don’t go insanely hungry for the rest of the day. See y’all again soon my friendly service! Too bad I’m dieting.

Food is delicious. Website link from google maps with Famous Dave’s Menu pricing is NOT the same as the actual Famous Dave’s website. When placing a large take out order, I attempted to address the pricing discrepancies to the restaurant manager. I was quite surprised that the manager paid no attention to my concern for the price discrepancies, and commented that the correct prices are reflected on the official Famous Dave’s website and the google website link was outdated. So, can someone tell me why the customer is penalized for bringing this to the restaurants attention?

My family and I were visiting from Maryland to visit my daughters future college Robert’s Wesleyan and decided to eat here. Great service, friendly staff and great tasting food. I do think the burnt ends should be cook a little more. Sam our server is a perfect example of what a server should be. Thanks Sam.

I’m not sure what happened. It used to be awesome. Got the chicken finger platter. The chicken was stringy and had a lot of fat and glue like pieces in it. It was gross. Put a bad taste in my mouth. Same happened to my partner who also got the same thing. Won’t be back for a while. Dinosaur instead.

I ordered over the phone for pick up. When I got there, NOTHING was correct. The girl was very confused and didn’t seem to know the menu. When she finally got the right food and I got it home, it was gross. The brisket was so fatty that you can’t even eat it, I was able to salvage one small piece. My husband ordered the sampler, 1/2 his order was wrong ( not boneless wings, wrong sauce etc). Won’t be coming back here for a while. No wonder they were dead on a Friday night!!

Always a great meal here. Lots of seating, so wait times are reasonable. I love the variety of BBQ sauces on the table. Brisket with Devil’s Spit sauce is my favorite.

Attentive servers even when the place is pretty busy, the food is just delicious, and the atmosphere is pleasantly casual. The décor is pretty neat and provides plenty of things to look at while you wait for your food to come out. Good food, good service, good atmosphere… great place overall.

The sides are awful, inedible garbage. I ate there once several years ago and never returned. I hope Ed Rensi can fix what’s wrong with Famous Dave’s. I can’t find a single BBQ place in or near Rochester that serves BBQ worth going back to a second time. I went there once and was very dissatisfied with the meal, my first visit was also my last visit.
