Frank Abdullovski came to the United States in 1962 determined to live the “American Dream”. After years of working in the mills Frank Abdullovski and his brother, Ferik, saw that very opportunity when they bought Giant Pizza, a small 900 square foot take-out pizza shop in Danielson, CT, in 1986.

What a poor dining experience. I haven’t been here in a couple years, but long gone are the days where they had wait staff take your order, bring plates and drinks, bring your food out to you, and take away the dirty plates. The entire experience, minus actually cooking the food, was do-it-yourself. I even had to help myself to the behind-the-counter mini fridge to get Parmesan sprinkle cheese! It was 3:00 on a Sunday afternoon , and we were the only customers in the place, so it’s not like they were too busy. The pizza was incredibly greasy, the crust was tasteless and nasty, and caused near-instant nausea. The staff was unfriendly and emotionless. They put so much into renovating the dining area, and added fancy-schmancy beer taps, but it’s all for nothing, as they will be sure to lose customers with this type of dining experience if this is how they normally roll. I can attest that I will never return.

I have been going to Giant Pizza since I was a child. We always had pizza on Fridays, and I attended many pizza parties for sports teams I played on, and then my children also went to these parties when they played. The local students often hung out there on the weekends or during the afternoons. Giants has always been a staple in the community. It’s with great sadness that I will no longer purchase food there. Things have changed over the years, as expected, but recently, I noticed that the quality of food is poor, the prices have gone up, and they have cut portions in half. I understand the economy is bad, but I have purchased food at other local restaurants, and although their prices have gone up too, the quality and portions are amazing. If Giants doesn’t figure this out, I fear this once iconic business will close.

TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE,TERRIBLE! I DON’T KNOW HOW ELSE TO EXPLAIN IT! Ordered delivery it took over an hour it finally arrived and My whole order wasn’t there! And on top of that my grinder was Soggy,& Cold and fries were like rubber! They are short on delivery drivers, not my problem.

I ordered a pizza with a few toppings, which adds up to a lot for a small pizza. The tomatoes were missing and I was only told about it when I arrived to pick up the pizza. I had to request a refund, which the girl at the counter wasn’t going to give to me until I asked her for it. Then when I dug into the pizza I realized another topping I ordered wasn’t on the pizza. They really missed the mark on this. I’m not from the area, so by the time I realized it, it was too late for me to go back. Not happy.

Love their meatlover pizza. My bf and I are addicted to their loaded french fries. It’s worth every single penny ❤️ I love how I can order over the phone, asked for delivery and able to cash unlike some other restaurants. My business will be always giants pizza!!!!! My parents and I always order here last minute and they always wait for us so that’s always a plus. This is my favorite place to come to for an extra cheese pizza. The crust is good and the pizza overall is really yummy. Their tuna grinder and special pizza are really good as well. Definitely recommend coming here.
