Bro Jo’s offers family friendly dining, plenty of TVs playing seasonal sports and a full bar. We serve northwest beers, outstanding ciders and award winning regional wines. Normally on tap are a variety of Bend Breweries such as Good Life, Boneyard, and Deschutes Brewery. A large selection of bottled beers are also available.
Our restaurant has been awarded Best in Bend multiple times and prepares food the old school way. Soups and salad dressings are all made in house. We smoke our meats daily and rarely do you see a can in the kitchen. Everything is fresh.
Brother Jon’s has three separate dining rooms, nice bar & two dog friendly, open-air patios. If you want to see and feel what Bend is about, drop on in to the locals Public House.

One of the great local Bend spots! It was packed shoulder to shoulder on our most recent visit. Luckily enough a few minutes after we put our name on the list, a couple spots opened up at the bar. Shane took good care of us during our time.

1st time dining here, stopped by on a friend’s recommendation and we were not disappointed! We enjoyed hot wings for an appetizer. I had the Ranch Chicken and Avocado sandwich it was delicious!! My companion enjoyed a burger with bbq sauce and bacon.. he loved it! We for sure will dine here again..Honorable mention, the cocktails we tried were very good!

Really great food. Unexpected from the outside. Delicious food, warm and inviting. Pretzels was soft, flakey and amazing. Veggie bomb burger and chicken avocado ranch sandwich are also highly recommended. Bartender/Waitress was very friendly and went above and beyond. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Bend.

Perfect Bend eatery. Not corporate. Great beers and excellent Chef prepared foods in an environment the is so Bend. Took an old house and converted to a great stop for food and beverage. Spicy mixed drinks are delicious. Chef specials is what I always get. Changes every visit. Owners are there all the time making the place perfect.

I went here to try “Bends best Rueben” What I found was the best clam chowder I’ve had in quite sometime and the drinks were fabulous. The service was amazing as well. For the Rueben, I was a little bummed. It was good. Just a little minus on the quantity of corned beef and kraut. Cool place. Not a lot of places where “Phish” and the Chicago Bears share the same wall.

I don’t get it. Was super I excited to finally try Brother John’s after living in Bend for a year and meh… Service was standard Bend. Tap list small and mostly local. Food was uninspiring at best. Of course we didn’t sample the whole menu but the chicken wings were rubbery and it took work to eat them so they weren’t enjoyable. I can usually mow through a dozen but left half on my plate cause they just weren’t good. Tortilla soup was more chewy chicken in some sauce that lacked any depth. Kids food also was left mostly untouched by our three ravenous little humans. Had to feed them again when we got home.

Wow! We found a goldmine when we decided to eat at Brother Jon’s. Great little bungalow converted to a bar and restaurant. Everything is house made including our salad dressings. The house salad and pretzel with habanero cheese and stone ground mustard was delish! And then the house smoked meat on our French dip and Cheesesteak was melt in your mouth, slap your momma good. We also tried the loaded potato soup and hand cut fries and were delighted. I love a good sturdy, well seasoned cup of aus jus and this was truly one of the best. I could hardly wait to write their review. There is limited parking but a lot of on street parking in a walkable neighborhood with a lot of restaurants and people eating at outside garden tables. A true gem in Bend.

The staff is great and the food is amazing. The bartenders know how to pour a drink;-) They have an awesome drink, not on the menu, called VNB (very nice beverage). I highly recommend you try it!
