The Public House Eatery was not only delicious at every bite, the chill atmosphere and fun staff added to the whole experience. We were tired hikers and not only did it provide the needed caloric intake, it provided an uplifting energy. We had the falafel and mushroom appetizers, and shared a salad with the goat cheese pizza. Not much else to say but don’t hesitate to eat here. Everything was cooked and flavored to perfection and we left much happier and with much more energy than we came in with. Enjoy!!

Seat yourself, family friendly vibe. Great food. The kids loved the pizza. Gluten free crust available, though it is not vegan. Steak tips were delicious and tender with yummy roasted potatoes and root vegetables. My friend had the schnitzel sandwich and raved about it. Great selection.

So good. Honestly have overlooked this spot for a long time, my bad. The food, service, drinks, atmosphere were all perfect for me!! Not a dive pizza joint. Not a short order fried food joint. A freshly made, tasty food and balanced beverage place. And fresh veggies growing in the window boxes is a nice bonus too!

Stopped in to try a different restaurant. I was not disappointed! The menu choices are excellent, and the food was phenomenal. We ordered the truffle fries and Mac and cheese. As well as the scallops/risotto and garlic stir fry with steak. Our server (Keith) was extremely professional, attentive and was knowledgeable of all menu items. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Staff is friendly and the drinks are strong. The food is good as well. Great place to grab a bite with friends and a couple of adult beverages! They do NOT offer pizza anymore, for those that had the inclination to stop for that. However, their other food options are nothing short of amazing so give those a try too.

This is my favorite restaurant in town. Every time we go there they have a couple of new and creative dishes, as well as the usual favorites such as pizza or steak and fries. The portions are generous for appetizers and main dishes. The vibe and service are excellent! The Public House manages to serve upscale cuisine while remaining chill and accessible. I highly recommend you stop by, even just for a pizza!

Wasn’t easy to find a place that had no reservation policy on Saturday in Gorham, Public house eatery initially seemed promising following the nice reviews it had on Yelp, obviously I wasn’t planning to leave 1 star review, nevertheless I would put -1 star if I could. I’ll start from the end and will try to be objective. So here you go: first time in my life we were kicked out from a restaurant (me, wife and our 3 kids) in a middle of eating, and why is that? It’s because the owner of the place (Teresa) considered disrespectful the fact that I didn’t like her main dish (steak tips) , it was truly tasteless and one of the worst steak tips I have ever tasted, (others may disagree while we are the type of families that visit restaurants pretty often), anyone else would suggest to change the dish for something else or at least maybe choose not to have any response at all! After getting directions from the owner of the place the waiter asked us to leave the place and avoid paying the dinner! To show example to our kids we obviously left cash as no one wanted to talk with us or accept any money (the owner ignored us rudely while we respectfully approached her).
