This place is one of my favorites. Our friends introduced it to my fiance and I and since then it’s our point of gathering. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is so attentive. Great music and interiors. But we usually like to sit outside. And got to add, the best, not exaggerated, the most cleanest restroom with all the products you need after eating. Perfect! Highly recommend. If the ratings were more than 5 stars it would overly past more than 5 stars!

Very nice atmosphere and the service was great. The food was not all that, more hype, than anything else. It was nice to try this restaurant but if I return it will be more for a drink than the food which was a bit overpriced for the amount of serving you received. It’s worth a try, but it’s not worth the hype.

We had an excellent dinner at Fugu on the 4th of July. The shrimp tempura appetizer was delicious…crunchy but not overcooked. The tuna tatakki was tasty as well but a little pricey. We had 5 rolls and two nigiri in total. The Tuna Crunch was outstanding along with the salmon nigiri. Service was very good considering the place was very busy as it is a great location to watch the fireworks show on the river. We had a great evening at Fugu.

Been here twice now. Both times we were treated very friendly by staff. The food was very good. Our family enjoyed watching the chef. He wrote I ❤️ U with the rice. I will say the cook are friendly, but their show is not really a show, just great cooking. Don’t expect tossing of food bites in the mouth are high flames. That’s fine for us because we enjoy the quality in their food. Both times we been there for a family of four it has costed us between $150 to $200, before we added the tip. So, the prices really just depends on what you get and if you have alcohol drinks with dinner or not.

The food at Fugu is excellent, but I’m mostly writing about the service in this review. I’m sitting in the restaurant right now, having just enjoyed a Buddha Bowl and green tea. Our server was Jenna, and she was exceptional.

My waitress was really nice and attentive (Adriana…I think was her name). I liked the atmosphere inside. The decor was really nice inside. It was dim and was lit up with soft lights so not too bright but bright enough to see your food. I could see the sushi chefs preparing my sushi and nigiri from my seat. I mainly just went to try out some nigiri. The food was off the charts with how good it was. I highly recommend the “sweet prawn nigiri” it was the best thing I tasted. I had to get it twice . I didn’t like the smoked salmon much though. Too Smokey for me but everyone is different.

Very cozy and comfortable outdoor seating area. It has its own parking lot which is a huge plus in this location. The food is good for Daytona’s quality. I would get their hot food or sushi rolls, because the sashimi is so sad and dry and small portion, but it’s very pricey. The rolls are not the best, but at least it won’t disappoint you so much. The price of food is even higher than some Japanese restaurants in orlando, but the quality is not comparable. I’d come back only if I don’t want to drive to Orlando. We spent $150 here but didn’t feel full.

Enjoyed an AMAZING sushi dinner here tonight. Wednesday is happy hour all evening, so we enjoyed some nice specials. All the rolls were delicious, our two favorites were the Surf and Turf roll and a sweet potato roll with a cilantro aioli on top. We have been looking for good sushi, happy we finally found it. Lastly, our server Michelle was excellent. She kept our glasses filled and was on top of everything! Can’t wait to return.
