One of the freshest salads I’ve eaten. Chicken wrap was generous and delicious. Clean and convenient to our Old Orchard neighborhood. I’d say go, and enjoy. Kitchen, which is visible from dining area, is dimly lit. Would like to see it brighter. Don’t just think of Amore as a pizza place. Much more. I think you can BYOB.

I implore the residents of Old Orchard to start anew with Jimena’s! I’ve lived here for ten years and I know we’ve all seen a rotation of pizza shops in this spot – and this weekend, after a day of housework, I had a craving for pizza and decided to try out the new neighbors. When I arrived for pickup, the owner was so apologetic that he had toasted my individual slice more than be would like, so he made me a small pizza instead and was just finishing that up. It was a perfect size for one person with thin, cracker-crisp crust like you’d get at a bar or cafe in Italy. The kind that doesn’t feel like a brick in your stomach afterward! And while I’m saving my Italian salad for lunch today, I pinched an artichoke, mozzarella and green olive already and it was all delicious. The staff was very sweet, you can tell there are concerns that the rapid departure of the previous tenants left a “bad taste” in the neighborhood about the place, so to speak. So I hope everyone gives Jimena’s a new chance! Because pizza within walking distance? Yes, please!

I was sad to see Jimenez gone that was in that spot. They made decent pizza. Coming from nj, this pizza is okay but not in par with most places in Central or North Jersey. The sausage on my pizza didn’t look cooked, more placed on the pie after it finished. In a pinch, this will do. But there’s definitely better pizza options in the area. The penne vodka was decent though.

Amore Pizzeria *chef’s kiss*!!! The NY Style pizza was amazing, coming from someone who grew up in NYC. We also ordered a turkey sub and the bread was so soft and fresh. I will definitely be ordering from here again

Finally tried this place around the corner from my house, I believe it changed hands 4 times, anyway the only food I order from Italian pizzerias is veal parm and it didn’t disappoint, it was tender and plentiful also with my order was a cheese steak that my wife enjoyed along with cheese fries, I don’t know what do you say about cheese fries. I look forward to the pizza it looked good coming out but it’s all about the sauce

Tiny place with very friendly and attentive staff who like to chat with customers (especially the older woman waiting for her order – only other person there at the time). Pizza slices were very good – soft and thin crust is how I like it. Could have been heated up for a few more minutes but that’s my only complaint. I’ll try to eat here again when I’m back in the area.
