Ok, I’m first going to say that the reviews I saw which drew me to this place had to have been paid reviewers or fake cause this place is no Mexican restaurant I mean the chips store bought and stale second the salsa was like commercial 50gal drum style nasty , so I put that to the side and ordered a margarita omg that was not a margarita it was a bad version of cool aid no Cabo wabo – you can taste that in everything not at all in this drink I did not order food cause all was so bad I didn’t want to risk it I did leave and I left a five dollar tip for their trouble- but real talk I went 15 min to kokomo and omg what a difference!!! Point is glad I left !!! But they were nice place was clean bathroom was clean too environment was nice as well!!! Don’t always trust reviews!!!

El Patron is a new Mexican restaurant in Greentown – and the food I had there was quite good. Real Mexican food. Not quite as good as Casa Brava in Marion, but that’s a very high standard. Here, the Speedy Gonzalez is a good deal. Salsa is not too spicy (and customizable if requested). Hopefully the road-work will be completed soon so more folks will get acquainted with this place! Ask for the specials!

Met my daughter for dinner. Service was excellent & food was delicious. I ordered Carnitas; the pork was SO tender. Expect a very large portion. My daughter ordered taco salad. She enjoyed her food as well. This was my third or fourth visit. I have been pleased each time.
