5 stars for the birria tacos and friendly service. I’m excited for this new option in the neighborhood and will return. Minus one star because it looked like I got the pile of crumbs at the bottom of the chip bag—I had to look at other photos of customers’ food online to be sure this wasn’t some new way of serving chips. I didn’t have a single piece of chip that was larger than a quarter. Also, the chips and guacamole were fine but not as amazing as great chips and guac can be.

Nothing but good things to say about this spot right off the bat. I got a taco combo with the beef birria + consommé and a pastor quesadilla to split with my partner, and everything was delicious. Everything had generously sized portions. So excited to have this in the Samish/Sehome area. I will absolutely be back.

The food was really good. I got three tacos with beans and rice. The beans and rice we’re undercooked and weren’t the side I ordered. It took a really long time to get the food as well. The eating area were benches outside the truck next to a gas station. Overall not the best experience. Would only go back if I really wanted birria

I haven’t done a food review in years in Bellingham, as the standard here is usually pretty bad, so give a warm welcome to this food truck, as it must be the best tacos and burritos I’ve had in 20 years since I was at the Texas border. Authentic and properly balanced flavors taste of deep southwestern roots… I can’t wait to visit again. Bravo!

I had one of their steak burrito and it was delicious! It fed two people and we even had left overs! If you are looking for authentic, mouth watering, and flavorful cuisine check out El Toro Loco ASAP! The employees and owners are so wonderful and kind! The customer service is extraordinary!

Got the three Birria taco combo with side rice and beans and consommé with drink for $15. I cannot believe how flavorful everything is and how large the portions are. The salsa doesn’t focus on heat, but the flavor is insane. My only experience with Birria tacos is at Mi Rancho for $1.50, but one of these tacos here is the size of three of theirs so don’t worry about price, you get your moneys worth. shady spot to sit on site was nice.

Honestly. The services and the vibe of the place isn’t bad. But honestly. I bought this food for my family and we are all Hispanic, we were all pretty excited to have something close by us that was Mexican made. Sadly the food was mediocre, lost of flavor in all aspects. Not only was the beef tasteless, it was pretty dry. The consumé might be made different from another area of Mexico or some other region all together but it just had the hint of being authentic birria but it was mostly like drinking water. I have never had a salsa verde that tasted and was just as thick as jello; the salsa roja wasn’t spicy or anything just didn’t taste like much. Honestly wouldn’t recommend this place aside the expense. You want some good birria then you should check out Chispita de Savor in Ferndale or Tacos La Guelaguetza taco truck just a little ways down the street from them in Samish

Wow! I just tried for the first time, que comida buena! I ordered 2 quesobirria tacos y consume’. They were stuffed w tender beef, the consume’ had a wonderfully light finish of cinnamon. It reminded me of travels to MX, eating great Mole, it was so good I almost want to drive back into town and grab a couple more. I highly recommend, and spend the $2 on the consume’, you’ll slurp it up if leftover.
