Great service, the atmosphere is good, but the rest well, let me explain. We ordered the brisket sandwich with coleslaw, side of beans, the two meat combination plate; which included… I chose sausage and pulled pork. It comes with beans , coleslaw, potato salad, and a bun,and I also included a piece of cornbread. The brisket should be called minced brisket, self-explanatory, the sauce is good but not exactly the best. The pulled pork is tender and delicious, but I received the minced brisket, no sausage. The beans are spicy but very good, especially with the cornbread. The coleslaw and potato salad are delicious. I asked about the sausage, wondering if they grinded their sausage, but come to find out, I got brisket instead of sausage. The owner gave me some sausage to go, so he made it right. I haven’t tasted it yet. It is an ok place to eat the prices are comparable to other places, so if you are willing to try a new place it’s an ok place to eat.

1st time here. Owner was a really nice guy. Food was great. I had the rib plate and was beyond full, also tried the small frito pie with the brisket. Def recommend of your in the area looking for some great BBQ. Ribs that will stick to your ribs.

Great food with a few unique dishes. We had the half brisket frito pie topped with pinto beans, jalapeños, bbq sauce and grated cheddar cheese and the rib melt sandwich, sweet bbq sauce, melted slice cheddar with a side of potato salad made with sweet pickle relish. Larry and his wife were running the counter, prepping the food and sharing some brotherly love. Restaurant was extremely clean.

Best frito pie ever. Larry greeted us himself, made us feel at home and insisted on feeding us. Even though he had just closed for the day. One catch, we had to eat in the parking lot. We said, “please don’t make us sit out in the 72 degree sunshine and light breeze of the afternoon!” He came out to check on use several times and spent time talking with us. Great experience. Great food. Great folks. We shall return.

My family who are locals rave about how good the Frito Pies are, so we went. We stood in line for 20 minutes to order and I got a Full Frito Pie Combo which is supposed to come with a drink and the guy refused to understand that, and made me purchase an extra drink even though the menu states the combo comes with a small drink. Very annoying. The Full Frito Pie was MASSIVE and I was only able to eat half of it. I would not recommend the full to anyone. It tasted very meh and I had insane indigestion for several hours after. The soda I got was wildly sweeter than it was supposed to be, and needs to be adjusted. Would not recommend to a friend.

This is some great bbq and one of the friendliest business owners you will ever meet. If you are hungry get the frito pie full moose (covered in brisket) today I got the 3 meat Adkins plate that comes with cole slaw. The sausage is unlike any other I’ve had at any BBQ restaurant anywhere.
