Mariah’s was established in 2003 by a local Springfield family – and is still run by that same family. Our one-of-a-kind building boasts 45 ft. ceilings in one of the only log cabin restaurants in Illinois.
Mariah’s Steakhouse specializes in hand-cut, hand-selected certified Black Angus steaks. Mariah’s didn’t always specialize in steaks. We were originally known for our homemade pasta dishes. About 5 years ago we revaluated our menu and made some big changes. Those changes helped us become recognized as one of the highest-rated dining establishments in central Illinois.

We took my parents to dinner here for their 20th anniversary. They really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great. It’s very romantic, warm, and cozy. I called beforehand to make a reservation. It wasn’t very busy on a Tuesday evening which was nice. The food was made fresh, and it tasted great. Everything was amazing. The only thing I thought could’ve been better was the chicken alfredo. Overall, we had a wonderful experience here, and I thank the staff for making a special night for my parents.

Went to Mariah’s for first wedding anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. Cozy and romantic with a woodsy, elegant look. New York strip and chicken Alfredo were well worth the price, best we’ve ever had. Our server, Jared, was knowledgeable, kind, and did his job very well. Even the other workers were attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend.

Excellent meal! Outstanding service and lovely atmosphere. Mitch, our waiter, was great! I had a strip steak and lobster ravioli. The hubs had a rib eye and lobster tail. All were perfectly cooked just the way we ordered them. We spent close to $100 but it was our anniversary so we splurged a little. No alcohol and we were too full for dessert. You will enjoy every bite at Mariah’s. Not to be missed.

Absolutely incredible! This establishment has left me speechless. As seen in the photos, the food was immaculate. The taste, even better! Our server, Ben, was among the greatest we’ve ever had! He met our every request, made us feel welcome, and suggested some of the best dishes and drinks! Every employee that walked by checked on us, as well as included our 5 year old son in every conversation! The owner came by at the end, what an amazing man! The owner personally walked around with our son (who was getting grumpy) and boosted his mood instantly! Both Ben and the owner did an amazing job in making us feel like part of the family. Keep up the good work! I whole heartedly, 10/10, recommend dining at this establishment! Thank you so much for the experience!

Mitch was our server and was amazing. As rhe butcher he also had great knowledge of the cuts of steak that were the daily specials. I had the chicken and rib combo and the ribs were literally ‘fall off the bone tender’. My wife had chicken Florentine which she also greatly enjoyed. The entire staff was awesome–filling drink glasses and taking away empty plates and Mitch may well be the best server in town.
