Today we dined at Xian and unfortunately, my experience was not as delightful as I had hoped. While the ambiance and service were decent, I encountered a concerning issue with the food that left me quite dissatisfied.

You must try braised chicken with potato & pepper (big plate chicken in Chinese)!!!

The dishes were very authentic, although they were a bit spicy. Overall, great stop for Xian cuisine in the area.

Very authentic China North-western style restaurant. Most famous fishes are Pita Bread Soaked in Lamb Soup (羊肉泡饃), and Hometown Style Pork Rouburge (肉夾饃). The Cold noodle with sesame is also a good choice during hot summer days.

Generous portions, and super good biang biang noodle (tomato egg sauce is a bit salty though)

The taste is very authentic, the noodles taste very good and the portion is very generous. There were three of us and we did not finish our food. Meat pie and noodles are very recommended!

Food taste is excellent…BUT PLEASE change your policy about to-go orders of the lamb pita bread soup (yangrou paomo) and separate the pita bread from the broth!!! Why is this not possible?????? We live in SF and drop by because we love the taste, but cannot stay to dine in. Taking it to to is impossible because keeping the bread in the soup turns it into a goupy mess!!! This is the only reason I am not giving the food or service 5 stars.

very traditional and popular Chinese xi’an noodle and snack. We went there a lot and with friends. It is really worth to have a try for noodle lover.

Food 5 stars. Service 1 star. Overall 5 stars. Authentic traditional Xi’an food. Very well-done. The best Xi’an food in the Bay Area in the opinion. I highly recommend the lamb cumin burger and hot oil noodle.

This is my favorite Xi’an food place. But I’m so disappointed with this to-go order… all the bread were put into the soup with container and became a fully flourish paste with greasy taste …. Cannot even eat it and waste my money!!!
