I was really surprised when I opened my plate to see my rice dressing and cornbread dressing was the same amount as the potato salad. They used to give a heaping scoop of rice dressing but now very little. This place was known for giving so much but now they went up on the prices but giving a lot less. Why do you start off one way and then change it which sends people to places that give more for their money. Disappointed!

The date is Friday March the 3rd 2023 at around 2pm. This place has been one of our favorites since we first tried them out on the moss st location. I have no idea what happened to this place but it has really gone down hill. Café Coachella has always been more on the expensive side, but the portion and taste they once provided was more then acceptable which made you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth.

Walked in with my mother to enjoy a meal but was told “Girl, you don’t belong here and you need to go.” Very rude. Extremely unprofessional. I cannot comment on the food as I felt unsafe and wanted to protect my elderly mother, so we left immediately. I will not be back.

We are retired and bought a home here in 2015. Today was our first visit. The food is AMAZING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS GREAT! Always pleased to see black owned businesses so professional and responsive to their customers in a positive way..Yes sir…will be back.

I waited in line for an hour. Finally I got to the window the guy was looking around the corner like he was ready to shut it down. I asked for chicken yams & rice dressing. I paid for my food and received ribs, rice dressing and yams. This isn’t what I ordered. Very poor customer service. If they was out that’s all they had to say. I will not be there again. Ruined my Sunday lunch and waisted my time and money today. .
