Stopped here for a bite to eat during a fall color run. The food and service was good. Reasonable price for food, although lately I may now say finding reasonable is far between. There is a nice place to sit outside in the back. While we came here for lunch I can clearly see that that would be a great place to come for an evening. There is an old grain bin turned into a bar and what looks like a band stage outside. The patrons came off as friendly even though someone outed us for being from Minnesota. I can say if in the area I would go out of my way a little bit to revisit here, maybe when they have a band out back.

Got stuck in a rainstorm and hopped inside to dry off. The bartender and kitchen staff were both welcoming. They didn’t have much for a vegetarian, but the cheese curds were fantastic.

Great food, great atmosphere/service, and very reasonable prices. We had burgers and shrimp, all were excellent. One pleasant surprise: the French fries seemed to be unsalted, so healthier than other restaurants. We’ll be back!

We’re trying to find a place to eat on New Years eve and this was the only place that had an available reservation. We heard the steak was good so that is what we ordered. The steak and the burgers we really good, worth checking out!

The Timber Inn is what used to be TJ’s. It has been completely re-done inside and outside. Food is still good, more beer selection, and it is much more airy and modern feeling. Good bar food. Not a gourmet hangout but good burgers and Friday fish fry.
