Our new place for Papusas. We ordered the bean and cheese papusas as well as the cheese papusas which the kids enjoyed. We also got the beans, pork and cheese mixed papusas which we thought was a bit more filling. They have delicious freshly cooked food. The ambience was really nice and it looked new. The whole family enjoyed our time here.

Gorgeous, the staff was very kind and welcoming. I’m new to El Salvadorian food and had a lot of questions. They were more than happy to answer them all. I will be bringing all of my family later to have another delicious meal.

Great Latin American restaurant in Oahu. I highly recommend it if you are visiting the area, especially if you are Latino and are craving for traditional food. Large portions, affordable, fresh and tasty. Will visit again if time permits. Staff very friendly!

There is nothing better than feeling welcome. I have to say La Casita gives you that bibe and feeling; the personnel is courteous and hospitable. The food is the best in town. I visit this place very often. I know the owners, and with honesty, I say they are very hardworking people who genuinely enjoy serving their customers.

I need to give them points for the effort to bring pupusas to the islands. Will I return? Simply no. These are the reasons:

Oh my god they charge for everything! 4% up charge for credit card, 50 cents for a cup. The food comes out in reusable plastic baskets with a paper liner that falls apart when you try to cut your food. The carne asada was so tough and they gave you a butter knife to eat it with. They dump the silverware off with napkins in a big pile. We shared an appetizer and they didn’t give us plates to share. I asked for my water up front and she said she’ll bring it to me in about 10 minutes later. It finally showed up. After I had to ask a second time. A food is not cheap for being a little hole in the wall strip center restaurant. Service was not great and you have to order at the counter. Don’t recommend
