I was not impressed with the 3 egg cheese omelette, the smallest one I’ve ever seen and the rye bread had mold on the side. The ice tea tasted like soap.. the homemade sausage tastes like hamburger…I’ve learned my lesson

Found this little gem by accident. We were going to another diner but it was closed Mondays & Tuesdays. Here we are, 4 big men looking for a decent lunch. The seating was prompt, the server just as fast and polite, took our orders and in no time we were eating well prepared, fast delicious Cafe food. To be honest I did ding them half a star in price BUT I get it, times are very tough and even so they got a 20% tip from me. The empty plate is a testament to good food!

The Fire Pit! Great food, great service. Kids loves the chocolate chip pancakes. Chorizo Eggs Benny was also amazing! Some weekends get ready there is a little of a wait but no worries no you number down and walk the oval. Take a look at the local stores and other restaurants you can go to on the next dinner date or night out.

This is one of the best places for breakfast AND lunch in the area, using local quality ingredients. Breakfast is served all day and there’s many unique dishes to pick from, like the compost heap and johnny apple pancake. If it’s later in the day and you’re craving lunch, your hardest decision will be deciding between a burger, a hand carved turkey sandwich, or a sizeable salad… Anybody could find something they enjoy on this menu. I haven’t found something I didn’t love! Takeout and service is also top notch.

Smothered burger, if you love bacon, mushrooms, swiss. Southern fried steak, if you like home cooking!! And of course we had to get a buttermilk cake. Everything is extremely fresh! You can tell it is made with love. Our server was the sweetest! Super fast service! Super fresh food! 10/10 highly recommend!

It’s a small crowded place. 40 minute wait to get in. Food was okay. Menu has all the prices crossed off. I assume the prices increased and they couldn’t afford to print new menus. Not sure why local eggs cost more, but it was listed on the menu that local eggs are more expensive. I didn’t hate the place or have a bad experience it’s just not a great place. Hence, the 3 star rating. It’s okay, but there are breakfast places nearby that are about the same cost with better food and drink. Hashbrowns are mostly raw potatoes with just the outside cooked.

I was in the area and didn’t know where to eat and as we all would do is search restaurants close to my location. My friends and I came across The Riverhouse Cafe and were very reluctant to try it, but gave it shot. The food was amazing!!!!! We were not expecting it to be this good. The service was very nice.
