I ordered takeout so I can really comment on the service or the atmosphere. I tried the orange chicken and fried rice. Food was decent. I did try the strawberry lemonade which was pretty good. I had also previously tried the mango boba which was really good especially on a hot day. I would probably try a different meal next time, to get a good feel of the restaurant. Fairly inexpensive.

Ok, well I wanted to try this place since they remodeled and sent their menus in the mail box for advertising their food and deals. They are good price combos i admit you get what you pay for meaning I’m not a fan of alot of the flavors they put in some of their food. I was disappointed of the cheese puffs and the spring rolls most of all. If you want to have a decent price meal the salt and pepper shrimp is on point. It’s a hit or miss I would say.

Newly Rebranded! The “Chinese Wok” otherwise known now as “China Wok Chinese Cafe”. I love the boba sign and it looks better than it was before! The restaurant is now more modern. The staff is friendly, Casual dressed, and relaxed. After I ordered, the food we ordered and many food on the menu comes with a free drink! After we selected our beverages, we sat and waited about 10 minutes for the food to be ready. The food I ordered was a sweet and sour chicken with rice and a Pepsi and a kid meal of fried shrimp with fries and a Hawaiian Punch. Also I had to ask for my piña colada because they forgot to give it to me. Beside that everything was delicious, Would definitely come again.

They don’t provide any sauces for your mean the sweet and sour is literally just chicken nuggets no sauce… Cat eat this too dry. Not sure if we had to tell them to make it with sweet and sour sauce.. but no chili no soy sauce no napkins no untensils just dry food … The boba teas are good tho.

Since the remodel they’ve seemed to have either hired a new staff or they have new owners. No disrespect, but I’ve been coming to this establishment for as long as I can remember and at this moment, I’m very disappointed in the choice of staff. There’s people at the window and counter that don’t speak to good of English! At least with the original staff it was expected. But these new people are hard to communicate with, AND they’re SLOW!! Fire and try again y’all. This is ridiculous! If I find out that there’s no more Chinese people in the kitchen, I’d probably stop coming. The bag with my food in it said ALAMO TAMALES!!! Ijs. Specific cultural restaurants should be authentically made by that culture.

First time coming here I placed my order and paid. Sitting down waiting 20 mins later we go check on the order since people are coming in and out getting their orders and drive thru keeps moving then the ladies act like we got our food when clearly no food in the table and they are refusing to refund our money so we can leave no customer service we asking for a manager the lady speaks Spanish with your order is coming up never will we come back thank goodness we are not from here never had this horrible service in San Antonio
