Found this place on a recommendation, and it did not disappoint. Bought 3 chicharon gorditas and wow. My wife had asada torta and loved it. She even wanted to get one to go to bring back to Bakersfield. We will be back soon for more.

Mexican food is good but it depends who’s in the kitchen. I ordered 3 gorditas. Unfortunately it was nasty. Yes the tortilla is handmade but the meat is tasteless. The chicken was extremely salty. They just put beans and lettuce so the food is just bland. I came so excited for this place but I’m leaving disappointed. The chicarron and barbacoa absolutely no taste, just salty beans. I’ll stick to the Barbacha for their bomb gorditas.

We drive all the way from LB to eat the roja y verde gorditas. Sure, the service sometimes could use improvement but you have to understand they are feeding hundreds and like anyone one would get flustered dealing with all that. Overall, the service is fast and the gorditas are bomb. Whatever they are doing don’t change it.
