Habit is a great local burger chain out of Santa Barbara. Their stores are clean, the servers are well trained and cheerful and the menu items are different, fresh and delicious. I always get the grilled chicken, Santa Barbara style. It comes on grilled sourdough with grilled onions and avocados.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I’m not pleased with the manager who runs this place. I placed an order “in app” for curbside, because this place offers it and sat waiting when timer ran out. Finally I went inside, asked manager and he just points to the area of prepared food and my food was sitting on the shelf.

Food was great! Price sucked! Everything is inflated now a days. Now they got the Habit. I could not believe my bill was $16.00 I like the Habit. Always get a double cheese burger. I thought I would try the new Chicken Ciabatta sandwich. Was delicious too. Just not for my budget.

Location:Good, Parking: Good, Service Good, Hiring for new crew:yes, Food for price: Okay, Overall: been to a few of these restaurants and yes depending on whose is making the food will affect the outcome. Bought 2 Cheese Burgers and Ahi Sandwich with fries. Both burgers were enjoyed by the requestors. My Ahi was okay compared to other Habits. The fries were not as hot as they could be and got cold fast. They do need help so if you know some one looking….

No complaint about the food, the quality is always good. However, on our 3/16 visit we arrived about 30 minutes before closing and the woman at the register didn’t seem pleased at all. When I simply asked for some black pepper and some yellow chiles she threw them in my bag with disdain!
