Good food. Donatos is always a little bit on the pricey side when it comes to pizza, but will you get what you pay for. The Hawaian Calzone and bread sticks hit the spot. Inside tables are a little dingy but 95% of the businesses to go.

I had a terrible experience with Donatos at Shaker Heights. I ordered two large pizza and 1 Pepsi. When the order was delivered, there was no Pepsi. I was expecting the Pepsi and it’s important for me to have a soda with pizza for a more enjoyable experience. When I called, I was advised that there was no more Pepsi. I was told the delivery person tried to call to tell me, but I saw no missed calls. I inquired whether there were other drinks to be delivered and the manager hung up on me. The manager was very unprofessional and rude. In the future, if you don’t have an item, call and tell the person that the item is not available instead of taking the order and delivering other items without the placed order. Since the manager is unwilling to assist, I’d like to talk to someone who can assist.

I ordered a cheese pizza for my niece on 6/13/2022 and was sent a pizza w/pork right before they closed. I am allergic to pork and I’m also Muslim so I can not eat it. I called to speak to a manager to see if I could get another pizza, and was told I could get a customer credit for next time because he could not send me another pizza tonight, furthermore after I hung up the first time I thought to ask if I could just receive a refund, I called back for a second time to ask the manager if I could just have my money refunded back to me, the excuse he gave me was just baffling and I could tell he just didn’t want to do it. He proceeded to argue and become rude when I began to question his reasoning behind why he couldn’t refund me he proceeded to tell me what he’s been dealing with all day, but I’m just calling because I’m missing a product I paid for, so I was totally confused at the projection. After about 5mins of going back and forth for no reason, I tried to reason with him, I was calm and nice throughout this whole situation even though the manager wanted to argue and be rude. After trying to explain to him I was only trying to see what my options were, he proceeded to hangup on me. He shouldn’t be a manager if he cannot communicate with customers properly. I’ve worked customer service for several years, even on my worse day I was still pleasant with people. My order was delivered late so of course I’m also going to contact the store late, so I’m not sure what the issues was. Anywho be prepared to deal with an attitude and unprofessional behavior if you have to deal with the manager.

If I could give this pizza less than a one star I would. I ordered a pizza with everything but the onions and peppers were not cooked. Today I am sick at the stomach on a Saturday and can’t keep anything down. Also the crust was overcooked around the pizza. Very disappointed in my purchase from your restaurant. We had to throw the pizza out. There’s something wrong with the preparation process because I had food poisoning.

About 7 employees “working” tonight and 3 of them are folding boxes. We were told our pizza would be ready at 7:13. When I got there, she said it would be just a few more minutes. I waited an extra hour before getting ONE pizza. The pizza was poorly made and I wish I would have just gotten my money back.

Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to this location! Poor customer service skills definitely a need for training on how to treat repeat clientele. The last 2 times I’ve visited the pizza was either not ready after pick up time was set and had to wait 20 additional minutes or this time they ran out of cheese and failed to call. Than informed me that no one told me to come out in the cold to pick up pizza. Than became argumentative when I mentioned that to be an inappropriate response. Than told there’s nothing they could do as it was my choice to have my time wasted, Just deplorable treatment.
