This is the best and most authentic Ethiopian food in town. We enjoyed the beef and lamb tibs which were seasoned with flavorful spices. The entree portions were large and came with a side of salad and lentils. The chef here makes his injera with 100% teff flour and you can tell, it is the perfect taste and texture, and he cooks all of his dishes with the same high standards. Even my friend’s Ethiopian mother recommends it – a serious endorsement.

I have never had Ethiopian food before, but I wanted to try it with my partner. We got the chicken tibbs, sambusas and kifto special. I could not recommend it more. The chef and front of house were so delightful, too, and very willing to answer any questions we had.

Absolutely delicious! We had a couple vegetarian combo platters, plus an order of samosas and that fed 4 people comfortably. Great, authentic Ethiopian spot, with friendly service and awesome food. Highly recommended!

First time dining here. Small but nice atmosphere. Food was very good. I had the vegetarian platter. The collard greens were seasoned and lightly spicy. The yellow lentils and the red lentils were spicy, for me could have been spicier. The salad with onion, lettuce, tomato and lite dressing was very good. Got seconds with no extra charge. Chef/owner was friendly. Pleasant conversation and checked to see if we were satisfied with the food. Hope to visit again.

I went here to eat with friends and my boyfriend, and we all loved it here! The food is authentic, so flavorful, and you can tell it’s a small family business. Now if you don’t like spicy, I wouldn’t suggest eating half their dishes. Simosa would be a good choice for you! When she presented the food to us, we didn’t know how to eat it. She sat down with us with her own little platter of food and demonstrated how to eat it their way. Essentially you get a roll of “sponge” bread or “crepe” bread (unsure what it’s called), you rip off a piece, then roll up the food you want to eat in it and enjoy! 🙂 They’re all so lovely and kind. They do provide to go containers for both food and drinks, and bags to hold it all. 10/10 would come here again.

I’ve been a loyal, regular customer for about a year. Today I ordered takeout through Doordash, and when I went to pick up my food, the owner told me he doesn’t work with Doordash. I waited at the register about 15 minutes to see if they would offer me a solution or take my order. All he said was to cancel my order on Doordash. They did not serve me. It is terrible business to treat a loyal customer like this.

A friend & I ate here today & were the only ones dining. Our service was exceptional & the food was hands down the best Ethiopian I’ve had in the city. The gentleman who waited on us cooked it himself & I couldn’t compliment the beef enough. The portions were double what I’ve found anywhere else & the quality was impeccable. I’ll be back, like this week. So pleased with our experience!
