It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This is a horrible establishment!!! The staff and customer service are a joke !!! Waiting 20 min in drive thru and nothing, came inside and same horrible wait !! All the staff just standing around joking and playing !! Manager just sat and watched as people waited forever !! Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone !!! Would have given 0 stars if I could have !!!

FIRST let me say I JUST LOVE Whataburger – my ONLY complaint is the long wait – even with only 3 vehicles in the drive thru. It shows how many jobs are open out there. Short staffing is REAL. PLEASE BE KIND to the fast food workers – they’re trying their best with what they have in order to serve you.

I ordered online when I went to pick up everything was there, lol! Which is always a plus with gas prices constantly playing games going up and down. I didn’t want to make the trip again. Service at the drive thru window was HORRIBLE last Saturday, AND UNPROFESSIONAL!! Cashier asked me to pull up, and she would bring my food to me ..I waited over 15 minutes, NO FOOD, g it out of my car to inquire on my order, cashier who waited on me FORGOT my order!!!! The worse part of the sevice was she LAUGHED at the situation, with no apology!!! Needles to say….I asked for my MONEY back!!!! This was so disappointing, because this location is my location of choice, and My dad use to work there, and he Loved it, need employees who truly care about the customers who help them get paid. Horrible service that day, haven’t been back since.

Awesome place! Love the food and staff! I highly recommend this place! People need to understand that any whataburger place gets really busy and stressful for the staff due to it being a popular fast food restaurant. If you can’t wait for your food being freshly made which takes time or don’t like the service, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! There are plenty of different fast food restaurants like Mcdonalds!
