With a focus on quality over quantity, we slow proof our dough to give it more complexity and we make our sauce from the finest vine-ripened tomatoes. We shred the mozzarella daily to ensure its freshness. Our pizzas are hand-tossed and baked in a (very) old and hot deck oven to crisp up the outter crust while leaving the inside soft and chewy in a New York(ish) style. This isn’t the easiest way to make pizza, but we think the extra effort pays off. Come see us and try for yourself!

Let me preface by saying I live in Dormont and pass many other decent pizza places to go to LaVostra, but none stand up to their pizza. Absolute perfection–the secret is to start out with really good dough and quality ingredients. I have not had a bad pizza from here. Plain is good, white pizza good, buffalo chicken good, pierogie pizza good. The only thing I would change is to caramelize the onions first, but that is just my taste preference. No pictures cause I eat it too quickly. But when there are leftovers, the pizza holds up very well to reheating or eating cold. Highly recommend.

Not your typical pizza place. Not allowed to pay cash on delivery. Not allowed to call in and place an order for delivery. Ordered from them in the past one time and the pizza was just basic. There is nothing special about this place plus it’s an inconvenience. What if someone only has cash and can’t drive to pick up their order? I will take my business elsewhere. Will never be ordering again.

Went over in the recommendation of the bar tender next door. Got a simple pie and cheese and spinach knots. Great service, very clean and orderly place. The crust was God damn perfect, crispy edges and the cheese blend was tasty.

The best pizza in the Burgh! Forget all the other places you’ve heard about. La Vostra has delicious, chewy crust and all the toppings are really fresh. I love the Gyro pizza, Hawaiian, classic pepperoni… it’s all good!

Excellent pizza at a fair price. I ordered the personal size and an order of garlic knots, just the right amount, felt satisfied but not overly fully. The crust was the perfect combination of chrunchy and chewy.

We tried out this new restaurant for dinner tonight. In a town of so many pizza places La vostra stands out. The pizza was delicious. It was hot melty and a had a little spicy kick. Seriously perfect. The cheesy breadsticks were a huge winner and were inhaled by my kids. Great job and we will definitely be making this our regular pizza spot.
