It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Just want to thank this location for being so accommodating with our large order for Shinedown’s concert. Of course they were a lil shocked of the order, once that settled they went down to business!!!! Not only did they make them all correct, they gave me a cute carrier bag with all condiments and napkins!!! Thanks again beach blvd crew!!!

I ordered the #1 with special requests – it was perfect, my husband ordered the #2 with special requests, it too was good, except he requested a few grilled jalapeños. He scraped off nearly 20 jalapeños and ate roughly 10 to 12 that he left on the burger. That’s quite a bit more than a few. Lol. The problem though was our medium Onion Rings – I had 5, seriously 5 onion rings in the container. He had 4 in his. We spent nearly $35.00. While the burgers were fantastic and the cashier was super nice and an absolute surprise, it’s really ridiculous to receive a total of 9 onion rings in two medium orders. I’d hate to see the small order.

Stay away from this location at all cost. It took almost an hour for them to get my online order that I placed correct. After placing it for drive thru pick up I had to end up going inside to retrieve my missing items. Once inside, and taking my concerns to the manager he accuses me of being a food delivery service and trying to steal food. After waiting another 30 minutes for them to give me my items, my other food is getting cold. No apologizes or I’m sorry from the Manager or Staff. Total lack of customer service and communication amongst staff and customers. The nighttime Manager and his staff needs to be evaluated by upper management and corporate or this place just needs to be shut down all together. This is the last time that I will be going to this location. (And I only gave this place 1 star cause google forced me to in order to make a review.)

Sat in there w/ 15 other people while listening to the manager struggle to control his staff while one was in the lobby on break asking for her food when people who were in line before she went on break we’re still waiting for food and also while watching the rest of the team struggle. After my 30 minute wait I still got cold food. Makes literally zero sense. Place sucks. They gave me new fries after another 5 minutes. I live 6 minutes away but somehow my burger felt like the last time it was warm the cow was still alive. Cook at home or just be hungry I guess.

Do not go to this location. Go to the new one on Atlantic. You will always wait 20 minutes longer than what the app tells you, and then once you get your food it WILL be wrong and cold. Then if you ask for a refund or remake the staff, specifically the management, will be condescending towards you. I understand food service and retail jobs are hard, but to be spoken to like an idiot is just unacceptable. Go to the Atlantic Drive location. They are nice there, and I’ve never had a wrong order/cold food.
