We adjusted plans based on the rain, ended up at Middle Child Clubhouse for a late dinner/drinks. If I was local to Philly I would be a regular just based on vibe alone. The service and environment score high in my books. Our food was excellent. We shared the brick chicken and it was a huge portion. Finished off with the apple cake (highly recommend). If you’re nearby definitely make a stop.

The food is incredible and portions are good. The Bloody Mary is spicy and the coffee is high quality. As someone who doesn’t eat a ton of meat it was great to find a biscuit and gravy(available on weekends only) that scratched the itch but was meat free. I’ll definitely head back to try some of their other dishes. We got there at 10am on Sunday and it wasn’t too busy but not long offer they got a couple of waves of customers that they handled quite quickly. The place itself feels a little like a cafeteria pulled out of the eighties and into modern day. The art direction of the space is fantastic and I enjoyed the elevated train rushing by outside.

Affordable drinks, great food, and amazing atmosphere. Interior design was They serve the most amazing aioli with the fries that taste like it has pickle juice in it and I had to get a 2nd serving. Get TWO “latkes” with the roe. The key lime pie paired so well with the espresso martini and literally made me forget my troubles while I was stuffing my face with it.

I love the club / diner combo, the vibe is chill and fun. You can have a cocktail and then soak up the alcohol with some delicious carbs. The pastrami breakfast burrito was wild and perfect to share. Would happily return for dinner or a late night snack!

We’ve been wanting to try this spot for a while. I’m a big fan of pancakes and saw they added them to their breakfast menu. It’s a large pancake. Fluffy and somewhat custardy on the inside and buttery with a slight crisp on the outside. Comes with honey butter, a honey based syrup, and lemon zest. It is delicious and one of the best pancakes I’ve ever had. It’s similar to the highly touted Golden Diner pancakes in NYC. We also got their chai granola yogurt bowl with a blueberry-grape chutney, golden milk, and mint leaves. I’m not a big yogurt bowl person, but this was phenomenal! The best yogurt bowl I’ve had. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a lot of fun trying custom ancho chili liquor and haberno based drinks. The hotter the better, it was a fun challenge for the staff. The bacon burger is legit, it’s like an entire slab of bacon as a patty. Recommended.

Fusion menu and perfect Friday night ambience. Fried tofu sandwich was good and so was the brick chicken and fries. Would visit again for more…

I was sold after my first meal at Middle Child soon after they started, so when Clubhouse opened up I knew it wouldn’t disappoint. The Caesar salad is one of the best I’ve had, the burrata with the jam & focaccia was phenomenal. The sandwiches here are obviously amazing with a great selection of drinks & a phenomenal selection of posters all over space!

I’ve had a lot of pastrami sandwiches in my life, but this one left me speechless and had me take a minute to admire its flavors. There’s a long line inside for that very reason, the food is amazing, and that’s why I suggest to do a pick up order in advance to avoid a longer wait.

While I didn’t get to try the BLTs, the pastrami breakfast sandwich was amazing. While they were fairly busy our food only took ~ 7 minutes! Friendly staff and atmosphere.
