I’ve been a fan of chicken salad chick ever since I discovered them a few years ago. I come to Jackson one week a year to visit a friend, and we try to visit every day and try a different flavor of chicken salad every day, seeing if we change our minds about which is our favorite. I tend to like spice, so go for the Jalapeño sandwich usually, but this time I tried the new Chicken Salad Melt sandwich. I just went with the basic flavor, to try the original since it had been a while. It was pretty good. I got the broccoli salad as my side, and it was delicious as always. It’s definitely my favorite side. I also like they have diet lemonade as a choice at the soda fountain, as I don’t always want calories and caffeine. The staff is friendly and the food comes out quick. And I really like you get a pickle and a little cookie with every meal. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend if you like chicken salad.

I was there with my family on Monday at opening. This is Tuesday evening. Great experience as always except for i ordered the broccoli cheddar soup. It was so hot that it burned my mouth. Not just a little… I mean I still have blisters on the roof of my mouth. It wasn’t steaming or anything. I guess it had a lay over the top if that makes sense. I never said anything, I did go up and exchange it for the loaded potato soup because after it cooled down I didn’t care for it. The only reason I am saying anything is because I would hate for that to happen to someone else.

Very unprofessional of a manager to hang up on a life customer. I love the soup & sandwich BLTs but won’t be treated like my money doesn’t matter & my food should be perfect & like I ask. No extra bacon this was third time it happen & no fruit cup after we said it & the lady on phone didn’t hear it. I get this meal one a week if it was correct. Need the owners involved. Keep getting bad bacon & over cook soup & bread.

We usually get ready-made chicken salad tubs in the cooler and a bag of 1/2 a dozen croissants during our construction lunchbreaks. The lemon basil and Jelapeno Holly are my favorites

Decent food. Clean and bright environment. Good value for the money. Sandwiches are fresh but the chicken salads all taste too much alike. It’s good but the ingredients just don’t set them apart. Soups were ok. Overall tho, there are other places in Jackson with better chicken salads.

I’m on the fence between 3 and 4 on this one. Maybe they were having a bad day? My wife loved this place the last time she was here so I thought I’d try it with her. Order the Sassy Scotty on toasted white bread with potato soup. She had the Kickin Kay salad. I was disappointed with the lack of flavor. Couldn’t taste the bacon or the cheddar and it just seemed very neutral. the same with the Kickin Kay. Very not spicy at all. Maybe it’s just Tennessee where everything out here tastes bland to me.

We eat here all the time. 2 meals easily feeds my family of 4 because they give you so much food. They also use high quality ingredients and their food is always delicious. They have the biggest variety of chicken salads to choose from. The service is always fast and friendly. The restaurant is always clean. Outdoor seating available. Definitely one of our favorite spots for lunch.
