We vacation in Vermont every year and make a point to stop here! Highly recommend the Vermont Press or the Apple Valley Turkey Sandwiches. Great place to sit down or pick up food for a hiking/ day trip lunch! They also offer local beers, lemonades, etc to drink.

We were looking for a sandwich place to have lunch while we were stay-cationing in Stowe. I’m so glad we did. I had the pesto eggplant parm and it was amazing! 10/10 would order again. Owner was warm and welcoming. Vibes of shop were warm and welcoming. My new favorite Stowe sandwich shop.

We went there twice in three days. Each time, it took 50 minutes to receive the meal. Now 50 minutes, is a long time.. but it would have been fine if we were informed about the wait. Neither time were we informed it would take this long. We ordered online, the system said 20 minutes. We ordered at the counter, there was no mention of the time it would take to deliver they order. So beware, great food.. but they got to work on expectations.

Excellent sandwiches. I always order a ‘thanksgiving’ sandwich if I see it on a menu. The Thanksgiving at Stowe Sandwich is probably in the top 3 that I’ve ever had. The onion rings were delicious. Fresh, quality ingredients. Will definitely be back!

I wouldn’t know if the food is good as we were told orders were backed up for 40 minutes (for a sandwich at 1 pm on a Monday?). Instead we got a bag of chips and a drink from the self service for a grand total of nearly $11. What the hell?!?! When checking the receipt we not only noticed the insane price for both items but also a 20% included gratuity that is not advertised nor is the customer given an option to customize. Excuse me but we picked up the chips and drink—your staff did nothing and then you give yourself 20% without notifying the customer? Buyer beware!

Was between 4 and 5 stars but I will round up. Staff were nice, the order for to-go sandwiches came quickly. The BLTTA I got was quite good, other sandwiches were similarly good though not remarkable.

Delicious nashville hot chicken sandwich! Was perfectly spicy. I asked for extra mayo in case it was too spicy and I’m so glad I did because it added a little moisturizer which made it even more perfect! Wonderful.

Come here every year for the choices of hot or cold sandwiches. Always a first stop for lunch before a hike through Stowe. The place is normally pretty packed around lunch time so plan accordingly, generally around a 20 minute wait sometimes when it’s busy. They do dine in and takeout, although I’ve only done dine in once, it was a nice setting of either indoors or outdoors. The Vermont Press is always one of our go to sandwiches from here, highly recommend it!
