An awesome hidden gem of a diner! My family and I ate breakfast and ordered Sourdough French Bread, side of corned beef hash and a corned beef hash omelet. It wasn’t very busy so we got our order quick. WELL WORTH THE $$ WE SPENT! For the same price at a “chain” joint, we received down home cooking food and plenty of it! We will definitely be back to try other items on their restaurant’s menu! When you order breakfast, you get a nice little boat of fresh fruit for free! That was a pleasant surprise!

Neat little place downtown Danville. Wife had chicken and waffles, chicken over cooked almost like it had been cooked and then recooked and waffles spongy. I had corned beef omelette, eggs over cooked so much they were brown almost burnt. Corned beef and the sour dough toast was good. Also wife chicken came from here and waffles from sister resting next store very odd setup. We won’t bother to come back..

Nice Lady at the restaurant while there. the sour dough French Toast was tasty, soft, warm, cooked just right. Blueberry Waffles were huge. Photo was super early. Definitely a spot to have breakfast if you’re in the area. I am from Wendell and am gonna come back for lunch.

Just left Nana Karen’s on Main. I woke up to a plate of food on my table. I fell asleep waiting for my order. I was awakened by the diners next to me. So I asked the young lady who was serving patrons how long had the food been there? She replied a few minutes. After which the friendly daughter let diners know the 45 minute wait time. This being my first time there I waited for the opportunity to ask for a to go box. It never came. So I asked if I could have one. I left a tip anyway. And as I turned to leave I heard her lying to the rest of the staff how she served me and checked on me WHICH SHE DID NOT DO, and to add insult to injury she smirked he’s gone anyway. I said loudly no I’m not. Then she asked the staff what is he waiting for? I appreciated the maturity of the daughter who was dealing with far more chaos than the other woman who was busy cleaning in between orders rather than checking on specifically me. She refilled drinks around me but NEVER addressed me as far as I know. But I was treated to an unexpected nap while I waited for my 2nd choice.
