The best vegetarian sushi I’ve ever had. I have encouraged everyone I know who likes sushi to go here and have revisited as frequently as I can afford to! I have tried every vegetarian roll option they make and every single one has a wonderfully balanced combination of flavors and textures.

It was an excellent week night dinner date, we sat at the bar and enjoyed watching the skilled sushi chefs work. The service was impeccable and each and every bite was decorated with care, they were meticulous about each plate’s presentation and it shows. I would highly recommend coming here and would be back ourselves really soon to try the other rolls!

Very fresh and delicious. Felt like they had an incredible attention to detail for each dish and the plating was . For only having a few servers the service was great and quick. Cozy on the inside and we felt lucky to get a walk in table, definitely recommend making a reservation before hand.

Let’s just go over why it is missing a star for me. The food did take about 30 minutes for it to come after ordering. (About half the restaurant was at capacity, so not too busy, not too dead). And they did forget to bring out two more things we did order. Ended up just getting one of them and refunded the other one, because of time.

This was such a great place! The best sushi we’ve had. Very cool atmosphere and the service was great and our server gave great recommendations we tried all her recommendations and loved everything! So fresh and the sauces super flavorful!

The food was amazing. The only thing that was an issue was the wait time for the food. There were a lot of to go orders it seemed like were priorities. The crab gyozas were an amazing starter. A little spicy but wasn’t bad for us. The naperville, hanger, and mango tango all were very good as well.

We don’t live close to the area and we saw a few people recommending this place for pretty good sushi and being kid friendly. We ordered the ikkai sushi dinner, 2 rolls and tempura udon. It took a long time for us to get sushi. I was very excited to try the nigri. The rice was too firm and had no flavor. All the fish seemed pretty fresh but the rice can make it or break when it comes to nigri and it definitely didn’t deliver. And I’m not sure what is so kid friendly about the place, I thought the music (bass) was too loud for toddlers. I would say this place is average at best.

Young staff but delivering a quality product. Kitchen items not extensive but this is a small place and they’re not trying to do too much. Do what you know and I only see them expanding and growing! Sushi and nigiri on point and roll list is rather extensive. They’re not afraid to add a level of quality and do pull it off. No cocktails and sake list could use some help. I’d recommend and I think you’ll be pleased.

Went here over the holidays with some friends and we enjoyed our time. We had a reservation and were able to be seated right away (definitely would recommend getting a reservation if you’re planning to come because the space is tiny and can fill up fast!). The decor and vibes in the restaurant are super cool and unique for the area, and I love that there’s an open bar where you can watch the chefs prepare the sushi. I removed one star because it took about an hour for our food to come out after we had placed an order with our waitress. Once our food came out, however, I was really impressed with the presentation of our rolls and everything tasted great. Definitely will come back to enjoy again!
