Explored a relatively new sushi spot in Fort Lauderdale and it did not disappoint!

Ichimora is a small hole in the wall in the place that you’d least expect it, in Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It’s at the base of a large parking garage that I used to come park at every single day back in college. Anyways, this place is authentic, delicious, and very well priced. The staff is friendly and environment was very clean when I went with a friend recently.

One of my favorite spots. Always fresh, and the staff is so friendly! Great lunch specials, and pretty reasonably priced all around. One of the best ginger dressings I have found in south florida! Strawberry green tea is something that I crave.

Great little hole in the wall place for Asian fusion comfort food. We initially went only because they have Peking Duck on their menu but all the other dishes ordered were delicious and fresh. The Peking Duck is really reasonably priced and service was fantastic. The boba was great also! Will definitely be going back to try their rolls and fried rice.

The first time I ate here, I really enjoyed the food. It was in the evening. The service was good. However, when I came back the food quality just wasn’t up to par, tasted basic and bland. Spent $70 for two each time. The uni (sea urchin) is $20 for two pieces, which we ordered on our second visit and sent back because it didn’t look fresh, didn’t taste great, it just looked unusual.

The sushi is very fresh and generously portioned. Great quality rice as well. I was pleasantly surprised that they had good Uni and I really enjoyed the Japanese fried chicken. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I am literally returning the day after for lunch and will try to return next time I’m in town.

This place is the best out of all the restaurants I had tried in our 5-day Miami trip.

I ordered their grilled beef skewers and Kogashi Garlic ramen. They weren’t too busy at the time so the food came out fairly quickly. The grilled beef had some gaminess to the taste but overall the meat is tender and well seasoned. The garlic ramen is rich but wish there was a more savory flavor to the broth; got salty at the end. The restaurant seems to be a combination of Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Overall, not a bad spot for a quick lunch.
