Visited Carol’s Cafe for the first time today. Upon entry we were greeted and told to have a seat anywhere. I love how this place is a small quaint historic looking restaurant. The menu has a great variety of appetizers and sandwiches & lunch plates. We each ordered a sweet tea. They give you a large cup. The sweet tea tasted great. I was told by a friend how great the burgers were so I ordered the big 14 oz one. It was big with delicious melted American cheese on it. I was not asked how I wanted the burger cooked and honestly I feel like it was too well done for my liking. The servers were friendly. I’ve had better burgers at other restaurants but Carol’s is good. I’d recommend this place and will return in the future.

Carol’s has one of the best breakfast wraps that I have ever had with home made salsa. They have great breakfast selections and great service. They make you feel right at home. Love to come visit when I am visiting from Texas. Need to come try their Friday Special of All you can Eat Catfish or Cod for $10.

I can’t tell you how thankful I am for these people and this restaurant. This is the BEST place to eat in all of Lakeland! Yes, I say that proudly. Not only does each guest receive the loving one on one attention of Carol herself, but the food is exactly how you’d expect eating at your own moms house. The BEST, hands down. Thanks you all so much and continue to do a great job, we love this place.

It’s smallish but friendly; food is very good. Service is generally very efficient. I’ve been there a number of times and the waitresses know my name and and what I usually like to order. It’s comfortable and clean.

Great place, wonderful people, and good food. The cafe is hidden in a little alcove in Mulberry. Hidden, maybe, but the locals sure know its there. It’s few tables fill up fast for breakfast and lunch. I’ll be back.

I have coming here every week for years. I have never gotten bad food, everything is ALWAYS amazing. Luis is incredible, and has an amazing talent at what he does. He always remembers my order & I don’t even have to speak it, he knows it by my name. Very efficient and seem to always be very busy but able to have you in and out in no time. I love Carol’s!!
