Beautiful restaurant with great food. Our server was pleasant and efficient. I had the Treasure salad, a lemon sorbet to cleanse the pallet, and very delicious chicken riggies! The only thing I noticed was the bathroom could be updated … They were fine for a luncheon but I don’t think they’d be sufficient for a big party or wedding but maybe there are different larger ones located somewhere else

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Trackside Restaurant in Utica, NY, and it was an exceptional experience. Our server, Elmina, was truly spectacular, providing attentive and friendly service throughout the evening. The food was absolutely wonderful. The highlight, however, was the setting itself. Housed within the historic Utica train station, the restaurant exudes a unique charm and character. I highly recommend Trackside Restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a cool and historic setting.

We ordered the appetizers of the calamari and coconut shrimp which both were amazing. We all ordered the chicken riggies which were also delicious and was served with an edible orchid. For dessert I ordered the amaretto cheesecake which was amazing. I highly recommend trackside.

Happened to be nearby at lunch time, so I decided to have lunch there. All the specials sounded good, but I decided to go with the grilled chicken taco salad. I’ve had a lot of taco salads in the past, but I honestly think this might have been the best I’ve ever had. Nice surprise.

While the food was actually very good, my daughter got a bowl of soup to start, and the first bowl had hair on the rim of the bowl. They did bring her a second bowl, and it seemed ok. I had the balsamic chicken sandwich, which comes on chibatta bread. Normally that bread is too dense for me, but this was very light, airy and crispy! I actually really enjoyed it! The staff wasn’t super friendly when we arrived but our waitress was very nice. I think part of the problem there was that there were only 2 servers and it was busy. I would definitely return!

Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re from out of town. We are from North Carolina and order by phone for a catered funeral luncheon and everything was great! The food was delicious and everyone commented on how good it was. The staff was very attentive and helpful.It ended up being an easier than expected end to a hard day for my family.
