Went for a lunch during the work day. Service was really friendly and not overbearing. Had the chicken sandwich with a side of Parmesan fries. The fries were delicious and the chicken sandwich was decent (I know, who goes to a place with “burger” in the name and gets a chicken sandwich). It felt like I got what I paid for.

The olive burger was amazing, great flavor with lots of olives. The hand cut fries were very good too, but the homemade ketchup and mayo w/ garlic was the key for the fries. Top notch food!

Lake Burger Tavern was a place my son recommended. We both had Spicy chicken sandwiches served as suggested which was a great choice. The sandwiches were delicious as well as the fries. We shared a cheese fry and a truffle fry. I liked the truffle better. I recommend

We stopped in this afternoon because we had heard decent reviews. So thinking the food was good we ordered chicken strips which took forever (the place was not busy at all while we were there) when we received our food the breading was burnt (overcooked). We also ordered a chicken arugula salad to take home. We opened it when we got home and was like were’s the salad??? Barely any salad just a small bed of arugula under the chicken. Way over priced for the quality of food. Needless to say we won’t be back. The server was amazing though which was the only great thing about our visit.

Great food and good service, now you order at your tables. The burgers are certainly the feature here but the fries are amazing and so is the poutine. They changed the menu a little and added a lobster roll but took off the Cuban Sandwich which was great

Slow service, food was good. We went around 8pm on a Friday. It took 25 mins for us to get our food because this new restaurant either is understaffed or the way they take orders and get them to you doesn’t work. You do order at the counter, and get a number. The burger was good. I got the BBQ Bacon Blue burger. I also got a chicago dog which was good, but the hot dog was either too small or the bun was too big. The boardwalk fries were cold and gimmicky. We will go back again, because the burgers were good, we just hope they fix the service issues. In all fairness this is a 3.5 place.

Loved our food; poutine, crab cannoli, bison burger and chicken sandwich. The drinks were also good; long island and an old fashion. Waiter kept the iced tea coming for my kiddo. Water was warm, no ice, and tasted like city water (because it is and we are country water people). Service was a little slow but it’s something we are patient with because we know it’s hard to find staff these days and we need to respect the ones that show up to work. Waiter was super nice and even gave us a brownie to go (it was so good!). I just wish it had more curb appeal. Being in a strip mall was a bit uneventful walking in. Air conditioning was not working well either. But, overall, we enjoyed our experience and we will be back.

I have been here a few different times and everytime it was awesome. The last time we came it was about 2 or 3 months ago. Today we went and I noticed right away that Lake Burger flipped the script. Why the change? It was awesome before…you would go in, order at the counter, pay, go fill your drinks, sit down and wait for your food. I wish you would have left it like that. Now, it’s like a regular restaurant where you go in sit down and WAIT for a server :-/ That isn’t all… so the food wasn’t as good as it usually WAS. and I didn’t get what I asked for. Instead of bringing out fries for each meal, they brought me a side of truffle fries. Right away, I told the person bringing them out, that we wanted fires for everyone not a side. She just kinda looked at me and said, “well if it’s not enough let us know”. No apology, no “we’ll make it right” or no “we’ll get those going for you right away” no care in the world. The fries were soggy and limp, kinda cold. And our sandwiches were not as they have been in the past. Ugh…this makes me sad because I LOVED the way Lake Burger used to be. I would make my husband take us to get lunch their after our boy’s haircut at Jude’s because we all agreed they were the best. But we probably won’t be back again. Sorry Lake Burger, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. :-/

Decided to stop in today for lunch. Always looking for new burger spots to try. 3 people in my party. We each ordered a burger, regular fries, 2 shakes and a soda. $69! Yes $69 for 3 people for lunch. So I’m thinking this Is gonna be an amazing Burger, right? Eh, it was okay. Nothing special. We each got an extra small size order of fries. Maybe 12-15 French fries per person. The shakes had barely any ice cream in them, IF ANY. As thin as milk with no flavor. I took them back to the counter and the girl was not interested in fixing it. Also their online prices do not match what it actually is. This place was so disappointing. We could have gone to Culver’s or some other place for better service, better quality food and shakes for a third of the price. If you’re gonna have ridiculously high prices, you better be able to back it up.
